My kitty, Kashi
This is the puddy my mom just adopted last week. She calls him kitty but his name is either Velky or Big Al depending on who you talk to. He looks exactly like Velcro, the cat they just had to put to sleep - except that Velcro was only about 6 pounds and Velky is over 15!
Trouble is 15 years old and not too healthy. Unfortunately, he developed a severe allergy to insects of all sorts a few years ago, and if he gets bitten, he’ll scratch his nose raw. That’s scar tissue. I expect to lose my baby within the next 6-12 months.
Your Jakkob is gorgeous. In fact, all these babies are gorgeous!

I’m sorry to hear about Trouble, but he looks pretty good for 15! That’s a good age for a cat.
Thank you for the compliment on my Jakkob. He’s just new for me, and I’m still a proud mama. I love him to bits. If only he’d stop puking! Although, tonight he was polite enough to puke on the lino.

TroubleAgain, I saw in another thread that Trouble had died. I don’t see that you have started any threads about it, but I wanted to tell you that I am sorry for your loss. It may seem kind of hard to bring up the death of your cat after hearing about START and Johnny L.A., but I know how those furry demons get to be your family members! Trouble was a beautiful kitty and I’m sure you gave him the best possible life.
Thank you, Dung Beetle. I hadn’t really meant to bring it up, but I couldn’t help noticing that he died on the same night as START’s brother, thus the comment. I really appreciate your thoughtful message. I am handling it a bit better now, but I cried myself sick Friday night and Saturday morning. Fortunately, Rio, Molly, and Punky do a good job of distracting me and giving me plenty of kitty love.
