Let’s look at the numbers right from the board itself. You average 11.87 posts per day. Andrewt85 averages 3.69 posts per day. You post 3.22 times as often as he on the average day.
Perhaps he’s posting from work. Or he’s blind.
Those figures are not a valid basis of comparison. For one thing, they fail to take content into account. I’ll stake the content of my posts against andrewdt85’s any day. For another, he just came back from a one-month suspension, a fact which will naturally skew the post-per-day average.
It isn’t so much that I assume that you should be aware of the event. It was, as you say, quite some time ago. However, even though that is the case I don’t see why your default setting is that posters that refer to said event are “babbling” about something rather than talking about something that did, in fact, happen.
You assume too much. My “default setting”, as you put it, for catsix is based upon my experience of her posting history, and should not be construed as how I would have treated a similar post by anyone else.
