A Strange Doper Dream

Last night I had the strangest dream about a doper.

I dreamt that my mother was trying to force me to marry someone from the SDMB. I kept telling her that I am seeing someone and as far as I know this particular doper is also seeing someone. Also, he has no intention of staying in the country, not to mention the fact that I have never met him. She didn’t care though, she was dead set on convincing us to get married, so she called him to see if she could convince him of the benefits of her plan. He very calmly explained all the same stuff to her that I did but she wouldn’t take no for an answer. I woke up before we were able to convince her that we simply were not going to get married and that was that.

The doper in question was Autolycus.

The only other doper I’ve ever had show up in my dreams was WhyNot and we were shopping together. The dream I had last night was much weirder.

Does anyone else ever have strange, doper related dreams?

I totally forgot about this until you responded to it! It was a very strange dream, not just because my mom would NEVER insist that I do anything I didn’t want to do, especially when it comes to my romantic life, but because I don’t ever really dream of people I’ve not met IRL. It is kind of funny looking back on it, though. I remember saying, “Mom, I don’t even know him and he is moving to Japan!” and her responding, “Well, he is just going to have to stay here in the states because you two are getting married!” Talk about strange! :stuck_out_tongue:
