A strangely early MMP

I bet they’re very perverted.
Ow. My back. I just carried the kid to work and back (only six blocks, but still. Ow.).
Hmm. We’ve alreadly got extremely limited kitchen counter space, so it would have to go away somewhere. The stand mixer (Matilda), kettle, dish rack, and toaster take up most of it. So I’d have to use it often enough that it’s useful, but not often enough that it has to live on my counter.

Maybe I’ll start a recipe suggestion thread somewhere.

I’m going to poke around in the kitchen, see if I can make more room.

Wow, lots pf MMPRs with ‘Teh Sick’, rest up and feel better.

Dolores, glad your pup is doing better. At leat he is willing to stay in the t-shirt. That is the main difference between cats and dogs. Cats would never stand for being clothed.

Rigs- that is so crazy about your computer. Hopefully you can get apple to help you out.

My dad somehow hurt his leg at work yesterday. He said it felt like something “snapped” in his upper inside calf. He had to go to one of those “work injury” med places (which all suck major ass around here) The doctors wrapped it in an ACE bandage, gave him some pain meds and some crutches and called it “calf strain”. He has a follow up on Thursday. If it’s not better, they’ll schedule him an MRI or something. I hope that it isn’t anything serious and that by waiting it will cause more damage. His company is having him to ‘light duty’ office work until he’s better since he can’t drive his semi with a bum leg. I just worry about my parents, as they are almost 60, but finacially no ok to retire and with an injury it makes me worry that much more. I can’t finacially help my parents out… :frowning:

sorry I am rambling on… well back to work.

Howdy Y’all! I’m doin’ some work from home this afternoon. Really. Well, soon. I came home about elevenish and actually have done some work related stuff. I also grilled up a buncha chicken boobs cause this week is all about sallits and all bein’ as it’s really, really, really hawt and will be all week. I decided to go ahead and grill before it got so unogly hot to be outside for long. I also made a big ol’ sallit. 'Twill be a good supper.

Just for donkeybear and all others who lust, here’s some shirtless firemen to drool over. No need to thank me. I was glad to do it.

Ok, back to work now. I promise. No more goofin’ off. I’m goin’ to work. Now. Watch me go.

Bye!

why would anyone be offended by shrimp? I cannot *wait * to see this t-shirt!

I was all set to drool, and then I spit all over my monitor.

Apparently Mumpers aren’t the only ones who like to hit others with fish…

Then there’s always this…

That’s what I thought of!

:: Looks at brand new blue reading glasses with slightly pointed upper corners ::  :frowning:

Mmm, those were some hot firemen, swampy.

Ugh, bored. Need to go back to work, but… whatever.

Watching more Flight of the Conchords instead.

Why is it that the last 15 minutes in the day always drag on so slooooooooow?

C’mon, 5pm. You can do it!

In other news, I am NOT going to the fabric store even though they’re having a ginormous sale. That’s right. NOT GOING. I need more fabric like I need a hole in the head. (maybe if I keep repeating that, I’ll convince myself not to go).

Back from scuba place with #1 son. Check engine light is on. I’m ignoring it–the car has just decided to need a lil attention–it can get over itsownself.

It rained like hell, but got no cooler. This is just wrong. Off to make chicken of some kind (I’m waiting for inspiration to hit). I may cave and put the air on…

Um.

Which fabric store?

STOP POSTING IN THE OLD MMP–IT’S GETTING CONFUSING. And god knows I’m easily confused.

Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

Rigs

:o  :stuck_out_tongue:

Hellllooooo Wednesday… (well, it is here! So there!!)

**Flutterby **-- more hugs for you, and good luck on the driving test on Saturday. Just remember, despite belonging to the British Commonwealth, youse guys drive on the right!
I don’t know how it is where you are and in this day and age, but back when I took my test (1981  ), the standard M.O. was fail the HS students unless they’re really good; pass the responsible adults unless they’re really bad. You’ll be OK

**Ivory **-- We still love you and your MMP; we’re all in the old one, still, because who can pass up an opportunity to see a real live zombie (er, “live zombie?” :smack:. Whatever…)

**Muppet **-- that old photo of you is quite Teh Hot  And yes, yesterday’s photo is from an unflattering angle – don’t sweat it!

grabs the last remaining cupcake and logs back on to the office to get some work done

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII feeeeeeeeeeeeel laaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy.

:: hits self with fish ::

it’s beebs’ fault. He started it. Have it locked down and force him over here, maybe. Lord nows I’ve tried with links.

LiLi, that would be Fabricland. Which, unfortunately, is close enough to the office that I can go there and back during my lunch break and still have plenty of time to browse… not that I ever seem to manage to JUST browse.

My main worry is driving over a curb (automatic fail and sometimes I suck at where my back end is), not parking right on uphill or down hill or parallel properly (I’m practicing all these with a friend tonight and for several nights this week). I’m okay with most other things, done a fair bit of highway driving and I just have to watch my merging (not bad at it as long as there is lots of room) and lane changes (ditto). I’ve gotten practice, and took lessons, but it just doesn’t seem like enough.
