I need help identifying a movie! I’m a bit sketchy on the details, but I hope someone will have some vague idea what I’m talking about.
It’s a comedy type movie, starts out in like the 1950’s, and a family has this huge underground bunker in case of nuclear attack and there was some threat, and they go in this bunker. The bunker is like a whole another house and they are well stocked with thousands of cans of stuff. Some like 50 years later, there kid, who grew up and is now a young adult, comes up to see if the world is safe. Meets a girl, and I’m assuming falls in love.
Can you name this movie?
How about Eels? 
Can’t think of the name but it starred Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silversomething, Cissy Specek and the guy from the original Dead Zone (my mind is a complete maze of blocks today)
The time frame was 30 years - 1960-something to 1990-something. Very cute movie - damned if I can think of the title
Fraser’s character was Adam and Silversomething was Eve

I’ve been back at work for a month now. They’ve kept the temp that covered my desk while I was out and I’m basically splitting my job with her. Not that I’m complaining, it did take the two of us to do everything that needed to be done this past month. I’m sure trying to do it myself would have put me back in the hospital. Which is why the temp’s still here.
I’m slowly starting to feel better, but it’s taking a while, and the side effects from the meds are freaking annoying. The worst one is the vertigo, although the hand tremors and the cold chills aren’t any fun, either.
So, that pretty much sums everything up from the, uh, last two months? :o I didn’t mean to be gone so long, but I am glad to be back. I just hope I can keep up with the Cool Kids.

I bought 1000# of pea gravel today. Cost $10. So pea gravel, at least at the local landscape company, is a penny a pound.
Daughter bought a bunch of stuff for her summer of camp, and we dug my old footlocker out of the attic for her to use. She’s packing and sorting and generally getting ready. On Weds, she’ll report to the camp to help them set up the sailboats - they want her to teach sailing!! - and she reports on Sunday to start her new job. She is very excited.
Meanwhile, I found a couple of leads for son-in-law, including on the base where I work, which would be really convenient. he’s going to start making calls tomorrow.
Not a lot else going on. Just another day in paradise.

I’s tahred! Work was busy. We had burgers for dindin. Fast food burgers. Ol’ y’all know who and I met up at BK. Then we went our separate ways. He had work stuff to finish up, poor thing.
OOH! The lizard’s have been at it again. This is the second time I have seen this in a week. Will my back porch be crawlin’ with baby lizardlings soon? I have no idea how many baby lizards are born at any one time. AIR they lay aigs. I wonder if said aigs are bein’ layed in my plants. I’m sure ficus and big vine thing would be thrilled to be lizard maternity wards. Rubber plant is kinda surly though and would not be happy.

Bother. Slight (big, annoying) difficulty with cleaning out the damn oven. The one that caught on fire?
Because of the position, I have to (someone has to) move both the oven and the washer in order for me to clean the inside, because as it is I can’t even get the oven racks out, and I am not scrubbing through the rack.
I think maybe this is a weekend job.

Shit on a stick. I can’t get my email to work. The stupid thing doesn’t even show me if I have new mail or anything. It keeps asking me for a password, which I give it (I have checked my keychain and it is the correct one). I can’t even delete the blessed password and start over. Some certificate of some kind has expired, but I never got notice that it would. I got notice last year of when to re-up. Nothing on my end has changed.
