Tues is pizza night with the sah-kid.
He could eat pizza every night.
I got one phone issue resolved, not exactly how I wanted it but it will do.
My land line started working and now the headphones aren’t working, so I have to use the cell phone for work again.
Tomorrow it is off to buy some new head phones.
I already had to bump up the land line minutes once, next bump takes me up to unlimited and is a huge jump in price.
My son doesn’t even use his phone, I even got him an experia? play.
I don’t know about that kid sometimes, doesn’t want a phone, doesn’t want his driver’s license, doesn’t want to be on my checking account - he could have his own debit card.
Give him a pizza, apple juice and a computer and he’ll be happy for life.
This me has been feltin’ frogs. I’m making fridge frog magnets, or possibly the other way round; I have lots of pinky purple and blue felting wool, and am running out of ideas for animals to make. I can only make animals for some reason, everything else I try and do crafting just comes out badly.
I have a big bowl of the blandest hamburger-rice stuff in the whole world, in hopes Mouse will be able to keep it down after his neutering surgery. We go pick him up in an hour, and I don’t expect much, except that he’ll probably sleep a lot for the next day or so. But if I can get him to eat a little, I shall.
And part of me wants to wonder out loud about how suddenly our Humble Opinion forum seems to be a dumping ground for one-shot, one-post posters who are more dramatic than any soap opera I’ve ever HEARD of, much less watched. O.o
In my experience, male dogs and cats both are barely aware of their new found nutlessness and post surgical pain the next day. Provided Mouse is not having a bad hangover from the anesthesia, he’ll probably be 80-90% of his normal self tomorrow.
Thanks, Bobbo I know our kitties, a brother and sister pair, were fine after a day or two. I probably just feel worse about him not eating or drinking since yesterday than he does, so I’m feeling guilty and just want to do whatever I can for him. He’s such a sweet pup.
And rosie, it didn’t work 'cause it wasn’t big enough. So here’s some more!!
I ain’ts shure whys it happened but for some wonderous reason, our state is not ‘in play’ this year. 9 out of every 10 commercials aren’t one candidate slinging mud at another one. Woohoo!
I lurves the ones like, “Candidate X only spent Y days in the Capitol last year. <Gasp>” But if you stop to think, excluding weekends, holidays, & days not in session for back home [del]gladhanding[/del] constituent services, that was every day they were in session. :smack:
There are curious people at every major intersection here waving campaign signs at folks on the way to and from work.
They remind me of the young ladies in hot pants and tube tops that accost one at stoplights.
One actually leaned into the window of my automobile and said, “I will do anything you want for fifty dollars.”
I, of course, replied, “Paint my house.”
Perhaps I will have better luck with the campaign sign people.
I appreciate the support guys. This is the hard part of sharing my life with animals; it helps to know that they have had a good long run. Really, it’s me I’m feeling sorry for; I’ll miss the fuzzbutts sorely.
Thanks for clarifying my crossover identities BBBobio, yes, I used to be kaiwik, hence the long timers referencing me as either kai or wiki. No worries anyway sahirr, I knew you were talkin to me! The performance was amazing. These women have only been taking lessons for a few months, a couple for just weeks, and one woman had only had a week of lessons. My sister did six months of lessons sitting on a chair as she waited for/recovered from knee replacement surgery, and they all had quite a lot of moves they busted out, it amazes me. It was everyone’s first public performance and I was entertained and impressed.
Hey bear we have the same trash pickup days!
Apes your sprogs are adorable, and it’s plain to see where their squeeness comes from!
Poor FCD’s tummy.
Well, that’s all I retained. I am opening my second can of vitamin R and getting ready to stick the poke steaks in the oven to bake. My son is working nights and I like to send him off with a full tummy, hence the lateness of the dinner hour. After dinner is done I think I am going to make some naner bread with walnuts because I don’t have any pee cans. (Yeah, I lost the puh cahn battle with these guys back in 2005!)
Darn it! I just woke my son up and he told me he has tonight off. I could have had supper done at 5:00. grrr
