A Thank-you Note to the SDMB

I just want to say thanks. The people here on this board are now an important part of my life. That is not to say that I can not live without it, but it would not be as much fun.

I read the Straight Dope for years without realizing that the message boards were something to investigate. And I only started posting recently. I simply didn’t realize you guys were all in here having so much fun.

I now write better. I laugh with friends when I share the things I read here. And every once in a while, I pause before giving my undoubtedly correct opinion on some topic.

I must agree, to the fullest degree, for if it weren’t for the SDMB, I’m not quite sure what would become of me.

Actually, this has become my salvation from the rigours of my occupation. I sit and do nothing for 8 hours at a time, and what with firewalls and all this is all I have. Ah shit I’m tearing up now. running for tissue
