I want to say what he means is “I won’t turn on you ever, UNLIKE all those folks who’ve already turned on us in Georgia, so how about help with these legal bills?”

I think this is the key. The whole point of encouraging little fish to flip is to get their testimony against the big fish. Rudy’s activities in so many states, and his nasty threats to poll workers to scare them from doing their jobs, put him the big fish category, I would guess.
Sure. I would bet he could get free landscaping for life from four seasons total landscaping. I bet the sex shop next store would even throw in a dildo for the exposure they got.
Agreed. He was front and center and will be going down with Trump. I thought Meadows would also be in this camp and I was surprised on the lack of federal indictment; we’ll see what happens in Georgia.
I figure that, in aggregate, We don’t have any idea what Rudy actually knows, and/or can corroborate (his cred is probably all kinds of shaky at this point).
And maybe he’s the kind of guy that – if he seriously does have inculpatory evidence against Trump, and it’s solid – he doesn’t get a pass. No Get Out of Jail Free Card. He just gets a deal.
He’s still the wild card to me. I always hoped for help from him and Meadows. We’re half-way there 
I think Jack Smith is laser focused on getting Trump to trial, to face the allegations of criminal behaviour just like anyone else, before the election. If he had indicted the other six (?) who are listed as co-conspirators in the federal indictment, that would slow it all down. Not saying that Smith isn’t considering indicting the other six, including Meadows, but the focus is on Trump.
Rudy’s credibility is junk. But his treasure trove of records would be utterly awesome to trawl through. And those records have credibility far in excess of Rudy himself. Even if the rules of evidence require Rudy to assist in getting them on the record.
How exactly to get all that trove into the hands of the prosecutors is the $64M question.
I think all this proves is that Rudy recently went begging to Smiths team, and they laughed him out of the room.
Rudy will go down with this ship. He won’t put his hands up and surrender. There will be no white flag above his door. He’s in love with Trump and always will be.
Or perhaps he looked for a deal, and they rejected him, and this story is to reassure Trump that he’s loyal.
Rudy is sitting on more baggage then Granny when she moved to Beverly Hills. Anyone he can flip on can do it right back. I’m sure he’s got uglier skeletons in his closet.
definitely felt around to see if a deal was there, and there probably was, but offering an 80year old man ten years off a twenty-year sentence aint going to cut it. The most generous deal they could offer him would still be essentially a life sentence.
And when they meet which I’m sure they will, all that was then will be there still. He’ll let it pass and hold his tongue.
