A thread for Rudy {Rudy Giuliani}

5 Trumpbux says it was a self-flushing urinal, and buddy here was too stupid to note that it flushed itself.

With MAGAts, you always have to look for the stupidest explanation.

See? Even when he’s just bat-shit crazy, he’s STILL wrong:

Trump claimed Americans are "flushing their toilets “10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once”

Toiletgate!

Sir, please stop trying to flush your diaper. It’s really making maintenance unhappy.

I can’t get this one out of my mind. Flushgate.

I have a go-to comment:

The GOP seems to think this is a zero sum game – if Biden is guilty of something, that automatically makes Trump NOT guilty of something.

Andrew Giuliani has – for all time – redefined false equivalence.

Even if the anecdote is true, the notion that it somehow compares to, or diminishes the boundless evil of, everything his father has done is simply risible.

ETA: @Euphonious_Polemic 4-5 posts up.

Although at one point my firm shared a floor in an office building with the election campaign of US Sen Ron Talent (R-MO). Now former senator thank goodness.

From firsthand (yecch) knowledge I can assure you the Senator does not wash his hands after either #1 or #2. Too busy I suppose.

Pardon me; could you please repeat that? I didn’t quite catch it.

No. It was wildly OT and had the potential for hurting some feelings.

Witty, though.

If you want to post something about Rudy that’s not appropriate to this thread, you can revive the most recent Pit thread devoted to Rudy:

Rudy gets fired.

The radio company that has been paying him $400,000 a year to spout has shut the tap.

Apparently management, possibly spooked by the Fox - Dominion lawsuit, ordered him to stop saying the 2020 election was stolen.

Rudy of course ignored that.

So he’s been shown the door, losing his last bit of steady income.

Rudy says that being fired by a private company is a breach of his 1st Amendment rights.

Nm double post

Christ, does he believe that? He’s a lawyer. He ought to know how the 1st works.

He also ought to know that you need evidence to challenge an election for fraud in 60 different court cases.

Yet, here we are.

He didn’t actually challenge for fraud, though. His usual claim was that the mail-in votes are unconstitutional, and so should be excluded. Legally wrong, but it takes a lawyer to explain why it’s wrong.

The 1st is much simpler.

He almost certainly does. But he also knows his base are morons and outrage is fuel for the grift.

It doesn’t matter what Rudy knows, it’s what his gullible audience believes that matters.

So, life imitates art.

Exactly. As I’ve said before, they’re not that stupid, they just think (know) their base is. Also, he can say it’s a 1A violation to the media/public all day long. But I bet he won’t say it to a judge.

I’ve mentioned in other threads that I listen to WABC for the latest right wing nut job news, and the fact that Rudy makes(made) 400K for that drivel is both amusing and disheartening.
