Then he ignored the deadline to object to the subpoena.
And then he ignored the hearing about compelling him to comply with the subpoena.
At what point do they just kick his door in and start taking his stuff?
As i understand the situation in this case (hard to keep them all straight), he’s not a party and it’s a civil matter, so it’s not a case of taking his stuff. It’s about using court process to force him to attend. I imagine contempt powers come into play at some point, and possibly a warrant, but that depends entirely on NY civil process. I don’t know anything about that.
So he might get locked up instead?
The two election workers from Georgia have begun proceedings to take Rudy’s two condos, his Mercedes, some World Series rings that he owns, and assorted knickknacks.

The former New York City mayor filed suit against Biden in October 2023 over the president’s claim during a 2020 presidential debate that Giuliani was distributing Russian misinformation.
This seems like a bad time for a republican to sue a sitting president for defamation, for something he did while president. If the case was allowed to move forward, I think it would open the floodgates to a ton of suits against Trump by people who hadn’t thought to sue him for defamatory statements he’s made against them.
As I noted on another thread, somewhere Alex Jones is moaning “How come I got run through the wringer when Vance (and Trump) get away with doing the exact same thing?”
The thing is that financially, they’re all getting crushed. Trump lost a ton of money, as did Rudy as documented in this thread. Lindell is ruined too. So really, Jones is being treated pretty fairly on that front.
Judge confirms amount of the forensic accounting firm’s bill. Rudy’s already put $100,000 in escrow. Now has to pony up another $300,000.
