A thread for Rudy {Rudy Giuliani}

The latest news:

Seems fair.

Yep, very fair. Best news I’ve heard in a while.

Was it really worth it, Rudy?

i’m not feeling confident that giuliani is upkeeping the fees on that apartment…

the sports stuff could be worth quite a bit.

He should also give up the World Series rings that he tried to hide by “gifting” them to a relative.

Finally some good news. Not simply fair, it’s just.

Man, Rudy just continues to find new and interesting ways to be a terrible human being.

He was required to turn over his New York apartment and all of the valuables therein to Moss and Freeman as of October 31. They turned up to discover that the place had been cleaned out weeks before:

I mean, we’re talking about the high-end stuff:

Strangely, neither Rudy nor his lawyer bothered to tell either Moss and Freeman or the court that this had been done, nor have they yet to tell them where all the stuff is now apart from “possibly” a warehouse in Ronkonkoma.

Well, at least we know where his car is…

Rudy had originally asked that he be able to attend the next court hearing on Thursday by phone because he has a “contractual commitment” to do a radio broadcast from his Palm Beach condo - with Mike Lindell - that day. The judge is not having any of it.

Rudy reduced to begging for money to buy food.

So we’re going to see him on the side of a freeway offramp, holding a sign “Will contest elections for food”?

Are there no prisons? No workhouses?

I saw in the Schadenfreude thread that his lawyers have asked the court for permission to quit. So they may not have been aware of his hide the peanut games either.

Poor Rudy. Forced to shop at Winco with the rest of us.

Maybe Trump will give Rudy a job in the kitchen at Mir-a-Lago.

He could at least make him bartender.

Rudy would probably make the bar pretty much tinder after a bender.

Thunderous chorus of [golf clap].

Nicely played Good Sir!!

By “hide the peanut games” are you referring to his stashing of assets or the Noelle Dunphy lawsuit?

I know he was disbarred (in some? all? of the states he could practice in) but I have to imagine there’s some MAGA law firms out there that wouldn’t mind him as either a consultant or even just to be in their ads. No, it’s not going to get him a Manhattan apartment, but if he really doesn’t even have enough money to eat, he might have to start slumming it with the rest of us.

It’s quite likely (but IANAL and I have no earthly idea, really) that any such income could be attached by Mesdemoiselles Freeman and Moss.

But Rudy could still do it in an effort to stave off further dramatic and highly public cognitive decline.

“So, I was at the local food bank where I volunteer, and guess who I saw?!”
