A Thread for the Mueller Investigation Results and Outcomes (Part 1)

So, the SDNY District Attorney which Trump installed after firing Preet Bahara?

He recused himself from TrumpRussia and was NOT the signatory on the warrants.

Might as well hire a Spinal Tap drummer.

I was about to link to this on a Twitter thread, but I thought I’d check with you first. If not, I can always just steal it.

What I’m trying to understand is: Why would she be enjoined from talking about trump if he isn’t even named in the nda?

Trump is playing Double Cranko!

Options are only bad in relation to one another.

But that said, why is it a bad option? What’s the downside to him? He won’t be impeached. It would look terrible to most people, but his base is screaming for Mueller to not only be fired, but imprisoned; the chumps would love it and cheer all the harder at the rallies.

The last time, he bombed an abandoned air base. He’s probably trying to find another vacant lot to hit.

This just in: The White House has today claimed the President has the power to fire Mueller, without going through Rosenstein or anyone else at DoJ.

Technically, all she said is that Trump THINKS he can.

However he does it, I hope he realizes it’s gotta involve more paperwork than a Tweet.

Wait, pandas? Sex crazed? I smell Fake News!

It will be on display at the Donald Trump Presidential Library.

She claimed that conclusion was based on legal advice they have received. Until it is tested in court, the contrary view is just an opinion too.

An unnamed “GOP operative close to the White House” says Trump is “losing his shit”. Trump is increasingly isolated in the White House and looks to Fox News personalities like Hannity, Pirro, and Dobbs for guidance. On his show yesterday, Dobbs said, “I would fire the SOB [Mueller] in three seconds if it were me.”

So, according to this unnamed person, Trump is holding off on firing Mueller mainly because he’s worried the Senate will stall his future nominations, and not because he’s worried that firing Mueller will be a Presidency-ending insult to the rule of law.

I really really hope he doesn’t fire Mueller. But if he does, I can only hope that it would be like fighting an asteroid heading for earth by nuking it, only succeeding in turning the asteroid into countless smaller, but still planet-killing rocks. The Daniels case can still go forward separate from the Mueller investigation; there are possible state cases, which Mueller has hopefully fed with information; the feds looking at Cohen’s documents may turn up information that spawns new cases; the scattered members of the Mueller team will have a hard time finding enough unused parking garages in which to meet reporters; and so on.

So it wouldn’t be *all *bad. Interesting.

First Presidential Library to be housed in a (small) thumb drive.

Zuckerberg confirms that Facebook employees have been “working with” the Mueller investigation, but he says he’s not aware of whether the company has been subpoenaed.

Ignorance follows:

Ok, so even if Trump fires Mueller, and congressional Republicans do nothing, wouldn’t the investigation just fall to the next in command? Or otherwise be taken up by someone else? Is it really that fragile that if Mueller is removed from the equation the investigation just stops? I mean, if that’s true he’s bound to fire Mueller.

to be located in Comrade Trump People’s Park, Moscow.

I expect the second in command(if that sort of thing even exists in this case) would have to be named Special Counsel to take over.
