In other news, FUCK Mitch McConnell. In a just world, that complicit jellybag would be ziplined into a blast furnace with a meat hook through his wattle.
I don’t know if you’ve ever heard this before Vinyl Turnip, but you have a way with words. And imagery and things.
I hope Bobby Threesticks has a stick with McConnell’s name on it.
Does the Senate majority leader have an absolute veto power in the Senate that is not subject to a discharge petition like the House would be?
I like how you think.
With somebody like the Orange Oaf, you’re also at risk of finding out that the original check was actually worthless and you’ve been scammed of the “difference”.
I’m afraid that I’m missing McConnell’s current relevance to this present situation?
Oh, I suppose if you have to have some… (The Hill)
Mad Dog Maddow spun a neat little conspiracy theory that touches on that. Her idea is that the GOP committees are demanding stuff from Rosenstein that he cannot legally supply. (Relating to an ongoing investigation.) She suggests that its a trap to get Rosie in a position where any move he makes is insubordinate and fireable. Wring around the Rosie…
I know everyone here is enjoying it but if Cohen’s secret client had turned out to be Maddow or Obermann then the world would have been a funnier place right now. Hannity is just a little too spot on for the punchline.
When people write the movie of this, they will be criticized for manufacturing ridiculous plot contrivances and one-dimensional characters.
So do I.
Did anyone see the miniseries “Manhunt: Unabomber?”
Chris Noth can play Robert Mueller.
Where the night winds wail.
So the latest is that the real estate deal was Hannit trying to erect something next to a penthouse in what he thought was a waste dump. He realized it was actually in Virginia but it was too late to pull out and he hadn’t used a condominium.
The Hannity scandal only fuels my suspicion that the marriage between the American right wing and Putin’s Russia is much wider and more complex than we have imagined. We’re viewing collusion as if it were an uneasy, temporary alliance between Putin and Trump’s campaign. I’m afraid it’s probably a lot more than that, and that much of the Republican party have been involved with Putin’s Russia for some time. The NRA and other right wing political organizations have clearly been infiltrated and influenced by Russian interests to no small degree.
But clearly, the Senate and House Republicans want to see this investigation die. The GOP is now Trump’s party and nobody dares to do anything other than make weak statements predicting political turmoil if Trump fires Mueller. It’s going to happen, though: Trump is going to fire Rosenstein and/or Sessions, and then he will move on Mueller, most likely claiming that the FBI’s involvement with Cohen is proof that Mueller’s investigation has become personal and political and unfair and gone well beyond investigations into collusion.
Must be embarrassing to actually buy a condominimum.
Bizzare:
WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh received copies of an email sent by the Commander of the Major Crimes divison of the Pittsburgh PD, sent earlier today, asking the force to be ready for protests on Thursday following the firing of Mueller:
I saw that earlier too. MoveOn, and I presume other groups, is organizing people to protest quickly if Mueller is fired. I’m on their contact list. Anyway, I would imagine that PD just became aware of the plans and wants to be ready to go if needed. I doubt they have any foreknowledge of what Trump will do. For that matter, I don’t think Trump has any foreknowledge of what Trump will do.
