Which is why many (most?) places in the US use machine-readable paper ballots.
You fill in the ovals with a pen. All the same sheet. Simple, unhackable, easy to check any time.
Same here in Oregon. You can mail in your ballot, or you can drop it into an official designated ballot box right up to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Your choice. You can also log onto the Election Board’s website to make sure your vote has been received and counted.
Our paper ballots are optically scanned, but if the vote tally is ever in question, there’s a way to recount if necessary. Also useful to conduct random audits.
Everyone should double-check their voter registration in advance of the mid-term election: Headcount.org. Maybe even triple-check.

That’s what we’ve had in Maine for as long as I can remember. I can’t quite recall how it worked in San Francisco back in late 90’s/early Aughts, but I think it may have been the same.
I’m in Oregon. I’ve never found a paper ballot difficult.
Their reasons, of course, are straight bullshit. The first couple are that Rosenstein didn’t indulge their petty whims and conspiracy theories.
Eventually they straight up lie about the dossier and FISA application.
In a just world both of them would see some repercussions, so don’t hold your breath.

Note that they didn’t file it as a “privileged resolution.” That way it can die in committee and they don’t have to force a floor vote, which would result in a huge split in the GOP.

Congress is about to recess for campaign season, so I have a feeling that Jordan et.al. wanted something on the record to use at rallies. “See how I’ve been fighting the Evil Deep State™ for you! MAGA!!!”
It’s a long shot, but that’s exactly the kind of thing that could garner a surprising number of GOP votes in support of impeachment. There will be pressure on some GOP members to show their pro-Trump credentials, though the best time to do that would have been before the primary season ended.

Cohen is Trump’s kryptonite, and probably many others too - he had recordings. Trump can lie like he always does, but the recordings exist and Meuller has them.
I think he only had three.
I thought Meuller had 12 tapes but apparently Cohen was very busy. As for how many clients Cohen had, who knows? I expect more will keep coming out from under the rocks.
