In other news, Cohen has been subpoenaed by the NY state prosecutors who are investigating the Trump Foundation.
Lanny Davis has said that Cohen has information that would interest state investigators. Apparently they want to burn this whole mess down.
If Trump has touched it, it needs to be investigated.

Aside from maybe the Collins quote (and note she said “misuse” instead of “abuse”), none of those quotes on the Repub side represent any kind of warning.
“Warning” is just characterization by the writer because it reads better.
Repubs don’t want Trump to fire Mueller because it will just make them look worse since they did nothing to protect him and will do nothing if Trump fires him.
“Republicans warn Trump against Manafort pardon”
Ooooo… those are fightin’ words to the toddler in the White House. Whenever someone tells him NOT to do something, dang if he doesn’t immediately go and do it just to prove that he can (hurling his bowl of Maypo at the walls of the Oval Office). 
All of the quotes may as well have ended with: “Not that we would take any action.”
These are the same sorts of things that they have said about firing Jeff Sessions or Robert Mueller.
One notes that Sessions and Mueller are still working in the Executive branch.
OK so say Trump pardons Manafort. What do you predict any of those Republicans would do?
