Okay, maybe this has to do with Mueller and maybe it doesn’t, but the feds shut down the Chicago law office of Ed Burke today. He’s apparently represented Trump’s property tax matters for the past 12 years.
I wouldn’t necessarily connect the two. Ed is a powerful machine Democrat, so Trump or not, it’s somewhat unsurprising to me, as someone who lives in his ward, that his office eventually got raided by the Feds. There’s been rumors of corruption with him for a long time.
Trump: Rosenstein belongs in jail because ‘he never should have picked a special counsel’
In jail? Right. :dubious:
Is anyone still pretending that there’s anything normal about this president?
Considering the timing, I wouldn’t necessarily not connect the two either.
Wonder if Eric ever goes fishing? Like, in a rowboat. On a lake.
How can anyone stay in a job when their boss publically states that he belongs in jail?
I just don’t get that.
Yeah, Ed Burke could be in trouble for lots of things. But that would be something if there was a Trump connection of some kind.
It’s an interesting thought. When I heard the news earlier today, it didn’t even cross my mind that there could be some sort of connection there. We’ll see.
Speaking of timing, I can’t stop giggling at Mueller’s in rolling out this plea with Cohen, again just as Trump is getting on a plane for another Putin meeting. The dipshit in the Oval Office is going to start suffering from PTSD every time he climbs on a plane for an international trip if it involves a potential meeting with Putin.
My goodness, that’s going to be a long flight to Argentina.
Taxes. Taxes and loans. That’s what’ll get him. He publicly bragged about not paying a dime more than he had to. Which is to say, or at least imply, that he skirted the lines. Stack 'em up, the penalties, the liens, the back taxes and interest. And then offer him, by hint and whisper, that he can get out from under if he Signs The Paper, and gets the Hell outa Dodge.
Trump is, essentially, broke, has been so for years. That is the biggest and most essential lie, that he is rich as shit because he’s so smart. If all his various creditors know the facts, the lawyers will start circling overhead.
Offer him a deal, he quits and he can keep some of the money. Some. Shit, his kids can’t handle being rich, being poor will kill them outright!
Oh, also he has to testify against Pence. Then tell Ms Pelosi to maybe get a nice new outfit. Sensible shoes, maybe take Michele shopping.
Hahahahah. Yeah. He represented Trumps property tax matters for 12 years?
I’m surprised he’s still in the country.
Hahahahah.
Trumps stink sticks to everyone he encounters.
“Every time I put the line in the water I said ‘Crooked Hillary’ and every time I said ‘Crooked Hillary’ I caught a fish. You believe that?”
Well, Trump didn’t exactly bring corruption to Chicago. But even if this raid is unrelated to Burke’s work for Trump right now, Trump had better hope that Burke doesn’t have anything . . . interesting he might be able to share with the FBI or IRS or whoever in order to get a better deal for himself.
What the extradition situation between Argentina and the US? Asking for a president.
Trump’s stink sticks to six sickly skunks.
Say that six times fast.
I mean, Deutsche Bank, Trump’s favorite piggy bang, was also raided this morning. Could be unrelated, but Trump better hope that they don’t have anything on him either.
Or it could all be related.
That seems to be in fashion this year.
Hilarious.
Don’t cry for me, [DEL]Argentina[/DEL] Dear Vladimir. ![]()
I sincerely hope this means the orange flaming asshole winds up with all his and his families assets seized and in prison soon. He could flee to a country like North Korea or Iran, (no extradition to US) but with no money he might not get much of a welcome.
I’d think it more likely that he would flee to Russia.
