Not explicitly. The Special Counsel’s investigation is into possible Russian interference with the 2016 election and possible links or coordination with the Trump campaign.
Naive foreigner here, but I would have thought that every American would want to know if a foreign power had tried (and potentially succeeded) to tilt the pinball table of US politics.

His campaign manager is facing life in prison for a variety of crimes, including the revelation that he was passing information to the Russkies. Roger Stone was communicating with Wiki Leaks, specifically about the hacked DNC data. And sooo much more.
Maybe Trump will ultimately be cleared, who knows? But you can take your “both sides are just as bad” ignorance and kindly ram it up your ass. Remember the Benghazi investigations? All seven of them? Zero indictments.
Remember the Clinton impeachment? A blow job, a disbarring, but no revelation of a while crowd of criminal conspirators.

As in the level of scrutiny Clinton and her husband were under from 1992-onwards, including special counsels, Congressional investigations, impeachment proceedings, Benghazi (11 times, that!), emails, Uranium, Whitewater, Vince Foster, Travelgate, Nannygate (never ending, that one!), etc, etc, etc?
