A Thread for the Mueller Investigation Results and Outcomes (Part 1)

LOL, your schtick is becoming old. Really, Will… you got something better than that? The “I’m too cool for school” persona gets a little childish after, say, 22 years of age.

Why do you keep doing this? You continually post bullshit that any poster with an IQ over room temperature can refute in less time it takes than for you to type drivel like this, you continually get your ass handed to you over and over again, and yet you continue? Do you get your ya-yas just wasting everybody’s time?? Do you collect troll warnings like some creeps collect restraining orders?

Seriously. How many pages are we going to waste on the WillFarnaby show?

I’ll value your suggestion the same that I value your opinion Nil.

Now, if you’re up for taking suggestions, might I suggest that, when you’ve been proven to be completely and utterly wrong and you have your willful ignorance and lying exposed for all to see, maybe don’t make suggestions.

… I don’t think Will can find those four sentences.

Well, he spent the last three hours sundowning. Maybe the nice nurse-lady gave him the tranquilizer he wanted me to take.

Meanwhile, back at the Mueller investigation:

Perhaps I’m a cockeyed optimist, but it may be that the mere threat of a subpoena for the unredacted report will be sufficient to prevent any redaction shenanigans. Barr has to know that at some point someone is going to have the redacted version in one hand, and the unredacted in the other. There’s no point in using his sharpie just to cover Trump’s ass.

“Mr. Attorney General, just what did you mean by ‘not exonerated’?”

Yes I was willfully ignorant of the Mueller agitprop. The day I worry about the details of every propaganda release from the US govt is the day I will accept my pawnhood alongside such “informed” homers like yourself.

I think that if the Mueller Report was as wonderful for Trump as Trump has gushed and Barr has summarized (even though he now says it wasn’t a summary) that the whole report would have been sent out to everyone’s cell phone via a Presidential Alert ten seconds after it was delivered.

Thank you. This thread has become totally polluted and derailed by his nonsense, which I suspect is the intent.

Just ignore him. You won’t change his mind. Engaging him achieves nothing useful. All it achieves is the disruption of the thread which, as I said, is probably the intent…

You got me.

I admit it.

I was warned. I ignored it. I was told straight up in no uncertain terms about you, but I insisted on trying to deal with you like a reasonable human. Sure, one who might be mistaken factually but is willing to learn or who is willing to have their viewpoints tested by rationality and facts. So I gave it a go.

Boy, was I wrong. I really should have listened to the myriad of voices who warned me about you.

So, congrats. You got me to treat you like a rational human being, when, in fact, you’re not just willfully ignorant and a liar like I thought, but you’re also a troll. My bad.

Sorry to all of those who tried to warn me. Sometimes I have too much faith in a person who can make sounds like a rational human being. I should have listened to you.

So, yeah, thank you for certifying that you are an idiot then for not even noticing that you clearly do not even understand the nuance here. It was not just for memes that Mueller indicted those Russians.

Well the one good thing to come out of this: it finally lit a fire under my ass to put Farnaby on ignore.

Please, if you must engage with him, stop quoting him.

Yes. There are things I have strategically chosen to be ignorant about. That groups me with every individual on planet earth. When I was proven to be wrong, I admitted it.

The bare facts remain, you are a pawn for the warmongers. You hang on every utterance and dispatch from bureaucrats, and genuflect at every pivot in their narrative.

I like pie.

Hey, my ears were burning!

It’s reported that tomorrow congressional Democrats will be wheeling out a “subpoena cannon” and firing a salvo of subpoenas: a subpoena for the full unredacted Mueller report, as well as subpoenas for five former White House staffers — Don McGahn, Steve Bannon, Hope Hicks, Reince Priebus and Ann Donaldson.

I’ve been looking at the Watergate timeline to see if it can provide any clues to the potential timeline of the upcoming legal battle.

So, there were thirteen days between the subpoena being issued for the tapes and Nixon refusing to hand over the tapes. It’s unclear when the legal battle in the Supreme Court commenced, but it was almost three months after Nixon refused the subpoena for the tapes that a verdict was handed down by the Court.

Returning to the present day, I would expect Barr to delay replying to the subpoena for as long as he can, and for congressional Democrats to begin legal proceedings to get the unredacted Mueller report released by court order the same or the next day that they get the reply from Barr. Then they have a decision to make - wait for the court verdict, which the precedent of history suggests could take around three months, or use what has been called their “nuclear” option, which is to subpoena Mueller himself.

Why would this be called the nuclear option?

To me this sounds like a perfectly natural step in any congressional investigation of Trump.

Celidin, you must have misread my comments or joined the conversation late. Your reply makes it appear I am taking the exact opposite position I do. Please go back and straighten yourself out.

Cosigned, except that unfortunately there is also a notable contingent on the left that is equally unwilling to accept the facts, due to a combination of being soft on Russia and hating Hillary Clinton.
