Dotster --glad you’re getting help, and btw, they’re not scare tactics. When I was a student nurse, we had an anorexic on the psych ward (this was in the 80’s when little was known about anorexia nervosa).
She had fallen and shattered (shattered) her shoulder blade-her left shoulder blade. She was in a special cast that covered her left chest and shoulder and held her arm in position. Here’s the thing: the unit had to borrow an orthopedic saw and keep it on the ward, in case she coded. (ie, heart stopped). Her electrolytes were all messed up (common for anorexics, and deadly).
So, I know you’re in HS and all, but Bad Things can indeed happen to you.

Hi Dot; glad you stopped by. I know what you mean about being intimidated. Took me a long time to screw up my courage to post here in the first place. Hope you’re not intimidated because we don’t hold back on telling you what’s what. I know it’s hard to hear sometimes. Just remember that we’re all rooting for you cuz we’ve become kinda attached. It’s really neat to read about all the good things happening in your life and it gets scary when you start talking about your health. I hope the residential treatment is what’s right for you. Keep us updated. You’re in my thoughts and prayers too…

I made it through about half of the remaining bed expansion. Planted a bunch of stuff while I was doing that. I think I’m getting the hang of how to do the newspaper/weed block/plant/mulch thing. Weather’s supposed to be nice this week, so maybe I’ll get to finish. Never made it to my annuals; maybe tomorrow…
