Kitty claws are almost as bad. I used to have a cat who thought I was a climby toy. I still have ugly scars. My cow-orkers thought my boyfriend was hurting me! We can’t have kitties now 'cause my hubby is 'lergic to 'em. (I hate it when he gets hives and quits breathing. Stressful you know):slight_smile:

Mika, loved the movie synopsis! I wish I could find Bollywood movies here. I don’t know if Blockbuster has them, they don’t like me. They said we returned a movie late, I knew we didn’t and refused to pay the fine. Rebellious is what I am. Woo-hoo livin’ on the edge.

My BIL just phoned to say his wife has just gone into labour. I’m goingto be an aunt ! It’s so exciting! I’m an only, and Mr. Lissar only has one sib, so until now there’s been a serious lack of babies in the family.

Prayers and good thoughts would be appreciated, and I’ll keep you updated on name, sex, etcetera.

I’ve always thought that monkey was a term for the female naughty bits. Although I have heard of shocking a monkey, I never heard of spanking one.

And I have no idea how many posts I have. I do know that mosdt of them have been to these threads, though.

Did I kill the MMP? Anyway, I have a cute short story before I leave.

The SO and I went to the grocery store Friday night as we always do. As I was getting into the car, I quickly ran over to mine, grabbed an umbrella, and climbed in. Please note I had never used this umbrella before. He looked at me and said, “Why didn’t you get me a an umbrella, too?”
And I said, “Well, am I your mother? But we can share this one.”
He said, “I need one to keep.”
I said, “Well, you can keep this one, too. Someone left it at one of the Walks a year ago and never claimed it.”
He said, “It looks too cute for me. It’s got dolphins.”
I said, “they’re just dolphins. Deal with it.”

So we get to the store, and I jump out and pull out the umbrella and open it. And he about falls over laughing. “You wanted me to carry that?”

I look up, and the umbrella is dome-shaped. It has the cutest little dolphins, swimming in circles. It has a tassel. It’s see-through. It’s about as girly as you can get, as a matter of fact.

I looked at him and said, “Suits you.” And then ran for the store. :smiley:

The plasterers are gone! I have been swabbing down the first floor, to little or no effect.

Heard from cabinet makers–they will be delivered 5/22 between 12 and 6. Floor arrives at HD on 5/19. It’s moving, folks!

Off to get sons’ haircuts. Still haven’t done the bath, but need to, so I can wash some dishes.

Hello all, I’m finally here!

Mika, thanks for the song; it’s very cute.

My mother’s surgery went very well, and she’s staying the night at the hospital. She was very sick after the surgery, so we just let her know we were there and told her things went well. Thanks for keeping an eye on the house MBG. However, you forgot to wash the boat and now the hubby has to do it. :wink:

After the surgery, the hubby and I dashed home so we could drop him off, and then I went to renew my drivers license. You’d think that just once, I could get a decent driver’s license picture, but nooooooooo, this one looks like a damn mug shot too.

It was FCM who sold the boat. We just bought our last year, in the spring of 2005. We’re still playing with it quite a bit, so it’ll be quite some time, I think, before we decide to sell it.

Tonight’s dinner menu will consist of ribeyes steaks, baked taters, and maybe some sauteed asparagus. I love asparagus!

I guess I better get a load of laundry started. I didn’t get a chance to wash any yesterday since we went boating and then spent until very late gabbing with the neighbors.

I’ve heard the term “spank the monkey” quite often. It definitely means a guy, uh…pleasuring himself.

The weather is beautiful today. Too bad I had to spend my day off at the hospital and then running errands.

On a movie review note, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, watch Hostel. That was one of the most stupid and gross movies I"ve seen in years. During the entire movie, Mr. Taters and I kept commenting to each other about how awful the movie was, but we watched the whole thing. I guess we’re just gluttons for punishment.

Tired. Off to beddy bye. Oooh…gotta find some sheets. (I’m in mid-laundry-marathon.) Fortunately I have something like 14 sets of sheets. Surely I’ll be able to find a set I don’t mind sleeping on tonight.
