A worthy cause? Cancer research...

BTW, how do you kids like my new SIG??

My stats: Member Name: dropzone
Results Returned: 26
Points Generated: 1,538
Total CPU Time(y:d:h:m:s): 0:004:23:14:00

Not faboo, but my results have dropped me into the 160,000s. Next goal: kick the asses of the 9,591 people in front of me so I get into the 150s!

Maybe if I “forget” to log off the network again tonight…

BTW, would that leave my network vulnerable to attack via the T1 line? I don’t care that much if we suffer worm attack as long as it’s not via my computer.

Just to watch it die?

Hey!! We’re not on threadspotting anymore. I think we should still be there since the weekend AND the hacker cut into our front page time. :frowning:

Wow, I got 35 hits with that one protein last night. That sounds decently good. Oh. “trout526595” is me in the list of teammembers.

Feh. I think you should all thank me for taking care of all the molecules they know won’t get hits, and giving you guys all the glamorous ones. It’s like being an offensive lineman, it is…

Ah, not to worry! If you’re a SIG user anyway, put the relevant links in (see mine below, for example). That, and I’ll try to persuade Tubadiva to “threadspot” it another time in a few months. How’s that?

No hits on tonights two modules so far, but you do what you can!

I will do it. Thanks!

Since, I can’t figure out where the hits are listed, I assume I haven’t gotten any. I’ll leave this on over night from now on and let this run, maybe I’ll find out in the morning.

Jim

Shayna has done a few screen prints. If you look at them, you’ll see where the hits will show up.

I just joined so we have one more on the team.

All right! Our team’s now in the top 1000 in all of results returned, total CPU time and points! All these new members are helping us move up!
(Yes, I’m just getting excited about the team’s accomplishments because I’m barely top 200,000. What of it?)

uh…
how do i get something off of startup?

i use windows 98.

Remove it from the “Start Up” folder.

You’re still gonna run it now and then, right?

Top 1000, eh? Can I hear ONE HUNDRED, ladies and gents?

saepiroth, click Start, go to Programs, click on Windows Explorer. Then open the Windows Folder --> Start Menu --> Programs --> StartUp and you’ll see a shortcut for the UD agent in that folder. Just right click and choose delete.

You’ll still be able to start it manually by going to Start/Programs/United Devices/Ud Agent whenever you want to crunch molecules.

Shayna & saepiroth, a quick tip. Right click the Start Button and pick explore. You’ll end up in Windows Explorer with the Start Menu folder already open. you only need go to Programs->StartUp from there.

Jim

Thanks for the tip Jim. I didn’t know that one either.

thank you very much.

20 hits! A my pc’s personal best, yay! I took a screen print and I’ll get busy following Shayna’s instructions to post soon.

several days now and Ive never seen ANYTHING that says I have hits! :frowning: 650 points and no luck???
