I won’t spoil tonight’s ep for those on the West Coast, but there is a scene involving a differently-remembered flashback. In it, Jackie remembers Hyde showing off his latest ABBA album - the first Greatest Hits album. The show is currently set in 1978. The album in question was issued in 1975. Hyde then plays a song supposedly from that album - “Dancing Queen”. That song came from Arrival which came out in 1976. Also, the name ABBA was blacked out on the album’s cover.

I don’t know if this counts as a mistake. Just because the album was released three years earlier doesn’t mean that Hyde couldn’t have just bought it. (As if he would have been caught dead listening to ABBA. When did the Ramones first come out on vinyl?)
Besides, it was Jackie’s fantasy story. We all know that she is shallow and inconsistent. I only wondered why she didn’t imagine Hyde dressed better…
Besides, it was That 70s Show. We all know that that show seems to make a game out of the anachronisms it includes.

Well the knee high stockings are hot. And there’s the skirt, you got that little bit of skin between the hem and the top of the stockings. The smallest amount of skin without seeming to be covered up is always good. Very tantalizing. Plus it means she goes to an all girls school.
Sigh, I wish I was 15 again.
Now back to “That 70s Show.” They’ve fudged their ages and school year right and the year as well, right?
Oh and if Hyde corrupts Jackie they’d make the cutest couple. Lucky guy.
