About the farting thread

Didn’t want to hijack the thread,tho it seems to be dying out (at least in terms of new posts),but I’m looking at figures and trying to reconcile what this implies.

I thought this was one of the longest threads in terms of viewers,but I see the diety thread has almost double the views,granted has had a month’s head start.

Does this signify anything unusual in terms of the general populace?Does * profundity * trump bathroom humor in the pit denizen’s eyes?

Why in a base of abt 12k at the SDMB,is there only a viewership of possibly only 10% or less (guessing many people have visited more than once to read the latest flatuence caper).

Am I the lowest denominator? :frowning:

'Course, it’s not in the Pit, but this thread has reached epic proportions (literally and figuratively), with over 300 replies and 30,000 views, and garnering the attention of other websites.

And it’s not even about farting or tailgating. (Well, maybe a little…)
