Actors trying to avoid age

At 64 Arnold looks pretty darn good. Harrison Ford could use a haircut and some product.

He’s just cool, though. That trumps any aging effects.

Arnold looks pretty good to me.

I actually recoiled from the screen.

Al Pacino and his giant capped teeth. They frighten me.

Mary Tyler Moore has become progressively scarier-looking for some time now. Her mouth and eyes just look wrong.

How do you know she hasn’t merely been prepping to play “The Joker” in the next Batman reboot?

Apparently, despite her popular persona as America’s Sweetheart, Meg Ryan is supposedly one of Hollywood’s most arrogant, all-around unpleasant “stars”, and has been largely forgotten by the industry.
Her self-imposed facial mutilation can’t have helped her popularity any…

Jesus Christ, Ringo Starr looks like a million bucks. I can’t believe the man is 71. I’d say Newman has some competition.

I predict George Clooney will continue to age fantastically. He’s only 50 so we have yet to see for sure.

Arnie looks fine IMO. Can’t say the same about other stars with plastic surgeries gone awry such as Joan Rivers, Burt Reynolds, Carrot Top,and Kenny Rogers. Google image those people if you dare. And yes, it’s so sad to see Meg Ryan’s looks heading in the wrong direction.

The lesson from this thread: Cheek implants are never a good idea.

Dolly Parton was on The Tonight Show last week, she’s had work done.

Note to Nicole Kidman: stop it with the forehead. You look like that lady from Dune.

Pics, or it didn’t happen.

Hmmm.

I’m a year older than he is, and I wish I looked that good.

I thought it was going to be a “Before” picture on the left and an “After” picture on the right, so I looked at the right picture first.

“Oh, that’s not so bad. Let’s look at what she looked like – BWAH BLAH!!!”

oh yeah… the man can eat crackers in my bed ANY time he wants to.

Burt Reynolds doesn’t look too bad:

Carrot Top, though:

Ole Burt should pick a toupee and stick with it.

Burt Reynolds is 75? That’s kind of depressing.

Part of Carrot Top’s odd look is that he seems to be wearing a lot of makeup these days, including eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow and eyebrow makeup. He probably is hitting the botox too, though.

Okay, I will set my man card aside for a moment to talk make-up: one of the set guys I used to build stuff with dated a hair/make-up person for a TV series. She was talking about how some make-up powder is designed to have a slight luster. It’s supposed to make you look “radiant” when you’re just walking around under normal lights, but camera flash makes you look shiny like the Tinman in Oz.

So sitting on the talk show you look fine, on the red carpet you look like this. In other words, Joan What’s-her-face’s picture probably looks a lot worse than she does in real life. Yup, she’s had too much plastic surgery, but she needs some nice make-up lady to be a little less generous with the shiny.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to have my toes waxed and polished.

Poser! If you were really in touch with your feminine side, you would have grabbed the matching purse.

Re: Plastic surgery. I highly recommend the recent documentary about Joan Rivers. VERY good movie about a true workaholic. Edit: It’s called “Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work.”
