My GF won’t watch one minute of any movie having anything to do with Woody Allen.

She’s still creeped-out by the whole Soon-Yi thing.

Me too. A rare case of the artist’s personal life destroying my ability to view/hear their work.

Actually, I think there has been a strong undercurrent of creepiness to his movies quite a ways before the Soon-Yi debacle unfolded.

Tom Cruise and John Travolta. When they’re on the screen, I can’t see the role they’re inhabiting, I can only see them.

Another vote for Nicholas Cage.

I don’t even really know why, he just bugs me. I just don’t like his face. I don’t even think he’s ugly, he just has this look on his face that I can’t stand to watch.

His voice bugs me too, but I think that’s because I associate it with his face.

I hope I’m not the only one but there are actors that, for no particular reason, irritate me by their very presence in a movie. Perfectly adequate actors that for some visceral reason I can’t stand.

For instance:

Jay Mohr - off the top of my head Pay It Forward, Jerry Maguire and Go; all of which I liked but would have enjoyed more if say Mark Wahlberg had played his role.

And your pet hates are?

Gwyneth Paltrow - I really really loved her in Se7en, tho.

Keanu Reeves - He is the Derek Zoolander of Actors.

I was saddened to see Terrance Howard in Iron Man. He sucked the cool out of the movie.
