I disagree. Adaher and the evil asshats like him are the problem HERE.
He may not WANT to aid ISIS, but that is exactly what he IS doing. He (and those like him) is a poster child for ISIS recruiting in the west. We need to call people like this out. And call them terrorist supporters to their faces.
The politicians you reference are just as bad if not worse.
If Adahar is evil, what are the folks who murdered all the innocents in Paris?
Still evil.
Well, that was an easy one! Did you get a cookie for that? Doesn’t seem fair.
I agree to a point but the degree of damage done is vastly different between adaher and the politicians. So a message board has a few posts that would help ISIS fan the flames of hatred, if enough people read them. On a small scale, that is a problem. But the exploitation by the politicians does harm several dozen orders of magnitude greater than what we could ever post here.
**adaher **need never fear our caviling, as long as there’s someone willing to point out that he’s not as evil as ISIS. It’s something he can be proud of, certainly.
adaher is supporting the evil terrorists who kill innocents to further their agenda.
He is actively helping them to achieve their goals. He might as well be following the ISIS manual and getting direct orders from their leadership.
But yay! He did not actually shoot anyone or actually plant a bomb. So there’s that.
So you believe your opinion to be infallible? Its ad hominem nonsense. In general its better to keep danger further away, separated by oceans. A better answer would be post WW2 displaced persons camps where refugees could be screened and orderly distributed to nations that want them.
*More than half the nation’s governors – 27 states – say they oppose letting Syrian refugees into their states, although the final say on this contentious immigration issue will fall to the federal government.

from CNN.
In fact, it appears that only 5 or 6 have okay refugees.
What kind of nonsense statement is this?
It sounds like a 6 year old saying “Oh you think you’re so great”. It’s meaningless.
Knee-jerk reactions in response to terrorist killings is EXACTLY what they want us to do. Sorry. I don’t obey the terrorists. I don’t think that we should keep muslims out, merely because they are muslims. I think we should not operate out of FEAR, just because the terrorists have told us to BE AFRAID.
I hate fucking terrorist sympathizers. Even if they are too dense to know that they are actually terrorist sympathizers.
Want to totally stick our collective thumb in ISIS eye? Welcome the refugees. Start programs for sponsorship by mosques, churches, synagogues, and atheist study groups. Make sure they have access to social media so they can talk openly about how they are treated, good bad and indifferent.
“Dear Mom: hope this gets to you, I know you must be worried. I am here in America, and nobody is trying to kill me lately. One guy in the next town attacked one of us, and they arrested him and put him in jail! The attacking guy! Also, they got food, and give us some! All that talk about America hating Islam is camel-droppings!..”.
Hell, maybe we will! Churchill supposedly said something about how you can trust the Americans to do the right thing once they have exhausted all the other options.
I wonder if he owns a wheelchair. Walking must be difficult when your knees shake so much.
Human rights and decency are “political correctness”. Compassion too. Conservative ideology nowadays seems cowardly and repulsive.
Except they usually seem to see it as strong, resolute, and realistic. So, how do we break through that wall of self-satisfaction?
Well, I would agree with you here, but I doubt what you suggest would make much difference. Does radical Islam hate America because America hates Muslims, or do they simply hate America period?
Sure, let the refugees in, provided they assimilate and have some ability to establish productive lives here.
Kinda like your argument. You take an extreme illogical conclusion utterly devoid of evidence. Its basically a way to avoid having to engage opposing arguments. Its stereotyping and namecalling. Not that you are alone in this behavior here.
ISIS commits acts of atrocious violence. They have stated that they do this to foment a world war between Muslims and everyone else.
ISIS wants the flow of refugees to the west to stop. ISIS wants the west to mistreat and abuse moderate Muslims. ISIS wants the west to assume every Muslim is the enemy.
People like adaher want the flow of refugees to the west to stop. They want us to treat moderate muslims like they are all the enemy.
People like adaher are doing the work of ISIS. They are following the ISIS playbook to the letter. They are terrorist sympathizers. They may be doing it out of stupidity, but they are still doing it.
They hate America because America has meddled in their region, supporting Israel and Arab regimes that are insufficiently Islamic. America has been surprisingly good at assimilating its Muslim immigrants, and that largely hasn’t been a problem here. Europe, on the other hand, has assimilated its Muslim immigrants poorly, and has created an atmosphere of us-versus-them and a permanent Muslim underclass. That is what is largely biting Europe now: a home-grown Muslim population that feels othered, and has no attachment to the values of their home countries.
While neither the US nor Europe are poles in this respect, and each have some elements of the other, the fact that 9/11 was executed by foreign jihadis, whereas the London 7/7 bombings as well as the recent Paris attacks were executed by locals is meaningful. Europe’s inability to make their immigrants feel European hurts them; our ability to make our immigrants American helps us.
So in a nutshell - adaher and those of his ilk are completely wrong. The ‘adult’ perspective is that there is risk that we’ll bring in attackers with the refugees, but that risk can at least be mitigated with robust screening. But by rejecting the refugees on account of their religion, we’ll absolutely move towards creating a more European atmosphere, and that will absolutely make us less safe. And once we’ve gone down that path, there is no known way to mitigate that risk.
Since when did expressing an opinion based in common sense become fear? Because liberals, that’s why.
Only a moron with a head made of concrete would not think that the so-called “refugees” are not packed full of ISIS terrorists. They’ve already been doing it in Europe. And yet the morons want to import them into our country by the friggin’ thousands. Why? Was it just too much effort for them to sneak across the border from Mexico that you so desperately want kept wide open, and so you decided to make it easier for them out of compassion and shit?
Own this - adaher is right. Deal with it. And when the explosions start happening and the shots start being fired, remember that he told you so.
I’d like you to read the following words, please;
Which of the following America-hating pinko liberals said that?
A) Rachel Maddow
B) Saul Alinsky
C) Al Sharpton
D) George W. Bush
I’ll give you four guesses.
