Im looking for a song that possibly is called Adelaide or has those words in it. It was heard in the movie ‘The Girl Next door’
Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated

There are 19 tracks on the Girl Next Door soundtrack CD, but none of the titles sounds like Adelaide.

I notice that the actual film soundtrack has more songs than the soundtrack CD. One of those extra songs is Angeles by Elliott Smith.

The Old 97s have a song called Adelaide on their latest album, Drag It Up. I haven’t seen the movie, so I don’t know if that’s the song.

Please let me brag a little. I’m pretty proud that I found that song, despite having never seen the movie or heard the song. I managed to hit upon the right combination of words in Google to find the complete list of 38 tracks played in the movie (someone has posted them on Amazon). Eliminating the 19 tracks that appear on the soundtrack, I started searching for the lyrics of each song in order, however when I reached This Year’s Love I decided to also throw in the word “Adelaide”, and I got a hit from a misheard lyrics site.

www.AmIRight.com is the site that came up. I’m not familiar with it, although I’ve seen KissThisGuy.com and a couple of others before.
