Adult Dopers, what are your guilty (chidish) indulgences?

I will be a quarter of a century in a couple months.

My childish indulgences are:
I love anime, I watch Reign, The conqurer; Yu-Yu Hukasi; Cowboy BeBop and occasionally Pokemon and YuGi-Oh!

I play the CCG YuGi-Oh! when I have time to.

Me and a REALLY HOT 20 year old female co-worker go running around the mall, bouncing off the walls like gradeschoolers and having more fun than I’ve had since gradeschool occasionally(mainly when we’ve both had way too much coffee)

Generally just regressing and having fun.

What about you?

Let me also add that I’m Male.

Lego

Cheers, Bippy, 33 Male

I’ll see your Legos and raise you Duplos.
Also, for me, Dora the Explorer.

I like coloring books and crayons. Buy one every now and then at the grocery store. Also, I like to play jacks, but it seems you can’t find the good metal ones anywhere these days.

I saw the neatest show on TV the other day — it’s called Tokyo Pig! It’s my new favorite.

Also I love stickers.

33 year old male here, and I’m still hopelessly addicted to the same video games I’ve played since I was 11. I’m talking golden age arcade classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Centipede and dozens of others. Anything that came out after 1988 or so is too advanced for me.

Half a century old.

Jigsaw puzzles. Lots of jigsaw puzzles, including 3D ones.
It is very good to disconnect the mind once in a while.

Sledding

36 years old yesterday (and no thread!)…

I collect squished pennies. I have hundreds of them. I like to break them out and look at them.

Mark me down as a color-er too. My mother thinks its amusing that her 25 year old daughter wants some of the coloring books that we are buying for my nieces and nephews…

I also stomp through the leaves in fall, and watch clouds in summer. All great fun.

I collect Asterix and Tintin comics, with the excuse that I’ll have grandkids some day. And every Easter season, I buy those marshmallow chicks and eat them…and I chew bubble gum too, but not at the same time.

I also like Dexter’s Laboratory.

I’m ashamed of myself.

Wow. Sounds like you guys have some fun. Me, I’m 40, and reading this thread, I realized that I don’t have any “childish” indulgences. Mine are all “adult”, I think: shopping, spa stuff, antiquing, oil painting, and the like. I mean, I have a great time doing all of that stuff. I never ever miss the other stuff, I think.

I don’t climb trees or watch cartoons or read comic books or mess with Barbies or other dolls or play with Playdoh or play with paper dolls or anything like that. I guess it must not bother me, because I really never thought about it until now. (Obviously, I did that stuff as a kid, but not now.)

Huh, maybe I should talk to my therapist about this…?! :dubious:

24 y.o. Male. Am feeling extremely guilty for watching all three Digimon cartoon series. And taping it when I couldn’t make it.

Unless my boyfriend is in town, I still sleep with a stuffed cow.

I also love watching Animaniacs.

I actually love reading children’s books. I buy them and read them, and then save them for my kids someday. Part of it is because I’m writing a young adult novel and I’m trying to get a better handle on the genre, but part of it is pure pleasure.

And I’m a 28 year old female.

Ava

Collecting dolls, paper dolls, stuffed animals. I still sleep with my teddy bear and my Pillow Person every night.

I eat icing and whipped cream straight from the containers.

Male in his 40s here.

I like Harry Potter. I’ve got and read the books (including the Comedy Relief ones on Quidditch and Beasts), I’ve played the computer games, and I’ve seen the movies umpteen times. I don’t have any of the action figures, though–can’t go too far.

Every time my wife and I go somewhere, we always seem to get a teddy bear. We have no kids, but plenty of teddy bears.

I’m too old to care.

Soap bubbles, tree climbing, Koosh balls and my metal Slinky.

Ooo, and bubble wrap. If I ever “out grow” popping those little plastic buggers, just bury me then.

26 y.o. male. And if you think I’m immature, well… :stuck_out_tongue:

40 year old female and bubble-wrap popping is not childish.
Is not, IS NOT!!!
(goes to her corner to pout)
Now I’m gonna need chocolate pudding.

I sat here, and tried to reply. And have no idea where to start.

There’s a stuffed zebra sitting on my monitor. His name is Charlie.

I sleep with a teddy bear.

I like kids books.

Bubbles are great. Slinkys, other “fidget” toys.

I am co-owner of a good-sized Homie collection. Yes - obtained entirely from quarter machines.

I like to eat raw cookie dough.

One of my favorite movies is Flight of Dragons. It has been since I was 7.

Need I go on?

Oh, I’m 22 and female. :^)

Climbing trees (like Michael Jackson) and sliding on icy roads pretending I’m a skating champion
