Here’s his response (Um… massive spoiler warning):
“You actually bring up an excellent point. We
here often wonder if the Aqua Teen Hunger Force should
meet Dr. Weird. After careful deliberation, the
origional creators said “No”. Apparently the ATHF
and Dr. Weird are to forever never know that the other
exists. Hope that helps you out there lol.”
Cool! Thanks, Blackclaw! Tell your friend I love the show and recommend it to everyone I know who would get it–and those that won’t, for that matter. Keep up the good work!
When I first saw ATHF I was a little put off mostly because I just can’t stand rap music. But the show is great. I’d say it’s the ‘edgiest’ of all the AS shows and therefore people seem to either love it or hate it.
Blackhawk: Ask if Frylock is ever going to snap and finally kick Shake’s ass.
And what the heck is Shake saying over and over in the closing theme? "Can’t something something"?**
Like I said, I hate rap.
Isn’t ‘Harvey Birdman’ done by Robert Smiegel, the guy who did Abigiously Gay Duo?
Baby Blues is pretty good, although it doesn’t really fit in with the rest. It’s very mainstream. I’m surprised its not on Comedy Central or Fox (when will they euthanize that godawful 'Family Guy" show?!)
And what’s the deal with the credits on ‘Home Movies’? Why do they list ‘Brendon Small’ as a real person? Jon Benjamin does the voice of Brendon, it’s just pitch-shifted a bit. He also does Coach and Jason.
Methinks you might be confused. The show was created by Brendon Small; Benjamin only does Jason and the Coach (he also did Mothmonsterman on ATHF, among other things). Many of the characters are voiced by “themselves” (sort of): Melissa is voiced by Melissa Galsky, Paula (Brendon’s mom) is voiced by Paula Poundstone, Mr. Lynch (Brendon’s teacher) is voiced by Ron Lynch, etc. And Brendon Small is voiced by…Brendon Small.
See here for details, along with an episode guide.
The answer is “Yes!” But he wasn’t allowed to tell me in which episode.
Brian said he didn’t know either. (Apparently he just joined the team. He had been working on Invader Zim before). He’d check with the sound guys and get back to us.
I told him he needs to just become one of us dopers. He said he’d check the site out this weekend. He’s a cool guy, he’d fit right in.
