Adults teeth too.

Seems to me that new light could be shed on the fever/teething connection by studying people whose third molars are erupting. Do they report fever associated with the eruption of teeth?

It’s always a good idea to cite the actual column you are referring to – in this case:

I certainly ran a fever at the time, but that was probably more to do with the unpleasantly invasive removal of said molars than anything else.

Anecdote: I do not recall running a fever or feeling ill when my wisdom teeth were cutting in. Just pain/tenderness. Of course, since I didn’t feel ill, I wasn’t checking my temperature.
