Adults: what childish things do you do for fun?

As my brother (dwc1970) said, I like
Rugrats too, colouring, picking boogers/bogeys/goobers, burping, farting,
throwing bowls in my kitchen to hear them
go dunk-dunkle-unk, breaking bottles
out in the sticks, wearing my Tigger
and Pooh playsuit, playing with my legos,
or my clay and making butt-shaped things
with it, sometimes with a poop sticking out.

One time I made a HUGE snow-butt in my
yard and took some mud and made a big
poop with it and stuck it in the buttcrack
of the snow-butt.

I drink apple juice ALOT, kookaid and
I make hamhocks and bEENZ! (beans)
with corn bread for grindage.

I HATE beer, sports, especially fruitball,
(football, yecch!), and the things that
my brother said.

I love sloshing in puddles too.

I never did quit doing any of these
things, and I don’t see why so many
people do.

Its hard to find someone to play with
these days in my neighbourhood
because they are mostly Mr. Normals.

I’m glad my brother is coming up to
see me this fall, we are going to
have a blast.

Oh and I LOVE kittypusses too
yes I’m a boy and I love my kittypuss,
nothing against dogs really, I just
prefer my kitty.

And thats all for now, have fun, and
pick a booger!

Let me see…

-Video games: always loved 'em, always will
-Still learning new musical instruments and still playing guitar really loud to annoy the neighbours
-Staying up really late watching tv/on the Internet/doing something fun
-Still watching the kind of shows I liked when I was younger
-Still always look at funny news on a website before the real news
And most important…
-Still have someone to do my laundry for me!

I think childhood is the best and most interesting part of life, as children aren’t prejudiced and are only interested in things that make them happy.

I like to do spin arounds in my office chair.

And you guys do too! Just Admit it!

I spent the today in the park with about 50 of my closest friends, playing make-believe and fighting with toy swords.

I watch dah pony

I keep a scorecard of how many zombie threads have been resurrected so far this year.

Now I’m all nostalgic for jarbabyj.

Air drum. I watched enough great jazz and rock drummers up close that I like to think I fake it pretty good.

Hi-hat on the left with the pedal, snare, and hit the crash with brushes sparingly, right? And don’t talk to me about the splash – it talks to me.

I have no idea what I’m talking about – it’s fun to pretend.

As a mom of a four-year old, I get to do all sorts of cool kid stuff and no one bats an eye. Yesterday we skipped in the parking lot of the supermarket.

Otherwise… I like board games, play sjoel, and I like candy (the kids variety) a heck of a lot more then I like adult treats like beer or nachos.

I also like childish things in decorating my home. No-one I know, apart from me, likes those colored tiffany lamps, or those twirly aluminium foil things you hang from the ceiling.

I didn’t know other adults like to color! (Looking at my box of crayons.)

I’ve decorated our house like a drunken child, and I like it. Some things are comforting (warm lamps and soft quilts) and some things Ping! you like the palm tree I painted on the bathroom wall that extends across part of the ceiling. (Refraction!)

I’ve tried to put surprizes in every room; open the bronze crab on the end table and it’s filled with different colored pebbles you just have to touch. Look under an overstuffed chair and pull out a square board on a movey thing? (You stand on it and do the twist and loose about a million calories along with your balance.)

The window over the kitchen sink has two birds on/in it. They’re magnetic and half are on the inside, half outside on the porch.

I have a mason jar filled with mardi gras beads and a ceramic frog with a leg that broke off. I church-keyed the lid and glued the leg there outside the jar so it looks like he’s trying to get out.

Also, there’s a big mirror propped on the floor in the kitchen so I can watch myself dance while I cook.

I’m in my sixities.

I have a bunch of coloring books too, and plenty of crayons.

I want to buy the Jem and the Holograms DVDs this year. There are new collector dolls but they start at $120 USD.

There’s a huge mud volleyball tournament near my house every year so I get to go slop around in the mud. Can’t get more childlike than that.

What a fun thread! I still play with action figures’ toy cars’ and transformers. I love to color, though I prefer colored pencils to crayons. Always have, always will. I love to swing, slide, and playing on the merry-go-round. I build forts, play hide and seek, tag, red light/green light.

I’d rather watch cartoons over primetime TV, and I go to McD’s just to play on the playground. Needless to say, kids love me.

I’m a 32 year old guy.

Waving at strangers; only when its safe to do so (ie I don’t run into them later and have to explain)

A gumball machine: Right there with you. I almost bought a home version of a cotton candy machine.

venus fly trap: I bought one. But they’re so hard to keep alive. As are all the other live stuff I’d love to have, like ant farms and such things. I do get a tadpole bowl every spring, though. I finally fogured out how to keep those in an animal friendly way (ie without them having to eat each other).

I like to pretend I’m a snail, or an amoeba, or an octopus. Weird creatures just make me so happy.

Oh man, Add me to the “sliding, swinging, rolling down hills, jumping in puddles and skipping” categories. I also climb on anything I can, walk along planter tops instead of the sidewalk, make up ridiculous songs and sing them to the dogs, wrestle with the now wound-up dogs, watch cartoons and thoroughly enjoy a well-executed fart. I love to dress up in costumes and remain “in character” in public randomly as well thoug i haven’t gotten to that as much as I’d like lately.

Right with you. Some of the best times has been mud volleyball.

My teamI’m taking the pic so am not in this shot.
