Kid raised some good points. I feel that another one to raise for ol’ TAI, since he entitled this thread the way he did, is “Got any proof of the atrocities you say the US Armed Forces committed in Iraq? Or is it just that you’ve bowed to peer pressure?”
Why is it taking so long for this guy to get BANNED? Surely he has met the ‘jerk’ and ‘whiny asshole’ and ‘unjustly criticized the mods’ requirements by now?
I do suspect that if TAI had acted exactly the way he has up to now, but was linking to a different kind of web site (say, a white supremacist board) he would have been banned somwhere around the start of this thread.
So what you are saying, Doghouse is that, contrary to TAI’s opinion that he is the victim of discrimination and unfair treatment by the mods because he is Muslim, he is, in fact, receiving special hands-off treatment dispite activities that would get others banned.

Well, I think he’s been given maximum benefit of a doubt. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, especially given our interest in diversifying our range of viewpoints on this board. But I think TAI has exhausted any additional goodwill he may have been granted.
Personally, I would have pulled the trigger of the Ban Gun during TAI’s bewildered–almost superhumanly addled, really–questions of how in the world he was to know if he’d posted in a thread using the Giant Blue Chunk-o-spam sig before. I can only admire our admins’ patience.

Your sig line was removed because of copy write violation. Your sig line was Big and Blue which copy write is owned by the IBM corporation the request to remove your sig line was made by IBM and was made solely on the basis that IBM does not wish to have this copy write fall into general use. This decision was not based on your national origin or religion as IBM has excellent relations with its Muslim employees and the many Muslims through out the world who standard of living has improved through the continuing hard work of IBM

I felt bad overnight about my slam in this thread. Then I took it upon myself to read his entire post history. I agree with Doghouse; the only reason he lasted as long as he did is BECAUSE he’s Muslim; extra slack was in fact cut.
He’s very young, very stupid, and very frothy. NOT the advocate Islam needs on this board right now.
At least we taught him some new swear words.

I feel sort of spiteful for asking this, but oh well. Mods, now that he’s gone, is there any way to get rid of his sig so it doesn’t show up in his previous posts? I’m not sure what the policy on that is, but I see no reason to keep the eyesores on the boards.
