My apologies for the misstatement, please let me rephrase it:
“TalkAboutIslam, your website was mentioned in your name, in your location, and in gigantic blue letters as your sig. It was quite annoying, and I’m glad the mods had you change it.”
Anyway, if a mod did in fact break the link in your sig, wouldn’t that qualify as changing it? If so, wasn’t my original sentence correct? So then, would you like to retract the statement that I am incorrect, or that the mod changed it?
When I first saw your sig, I clicked on one of the links, WHICH WAS BROKEN! Your original link was broken. So when you copied and pasted the link, it was STILL broken. No mod would have broken the link, if we had modified it at all we would have removed the link. And quite probably the colors, as well.
Got it??? TalkAboutIslam, you broke your link yourself. Now, I advise you to quit whining about how unjustly persecuted you are, because you’re not. You’re just making yourself look foolish.

There are many threads in the Great Debates forum which discuss Islam, and yet you have chosen to ignore them – hence it seems that your desire to “talk about Islam” is non-existent. Instead you have chosen to post anodyne and empty remarks to several other threads, rarely contributing anything to the conversation, yet giving you the opportunity to advertise your message board through your screen name, your location and your signature. As in the Chess Question thread for instance:

If you truly had any respect for your religion you would not associate it with such behaviour. Perhaps you owe your fellow Muslims an apology just as much as you owe one to the SDMB?

Yo, TAI, let’s talk a tad about Islam. Do you recognize this?
Last I checked, that was in the Noble Qur’an (Sur 6, verse 148). What it means, IMHO, is that before you accuse someone of doing something, make sure you have actual proof and not just your guess that something happened. The longer you maintain you’re being persecuted here for something that you guessed wrong about, the more you prove “you do nothing but lie” and that will certainly detract from anything that you might say here in the future about Islam.

I refuse to give you the fight that I think you so desperately want. You appear to be angry and perhaps for good reason. I don’t know. So I will ask you two questions:
How do you respond to Chula’s link from your board that was edited to 'reflect religious and social truths?" This doesn’t seem in the spirit of free speech and thought.
How do you respond to the fact that people were so interested in learning about Islam from Muslim Guy that a second thread had to be made?
If you approach people with an antagonistic attitude you will get one in return. We’re all human. I saw your sig and thought it was intrusive myself but I could deal with it.
I think the board would be more than happy to “start over” if you are willing.
