Agatha Christie disappeared briefly for a week many years ago. Anyone know what happened to her, one of the greatest mystery writers of all time?
Also, how do I search the archives of the message board so I don’t repeat questions; I’m new here. Thanks a million.
Short answer: her husband was cheating on her and planned to leave her; she purposely “disappeared” to humiliate him - after all, he was interrogated by the cops and everything. She was “found” a couple of weeks later at a hotel room in northern England… Actually, one of the hotel staff noticed that this particular guest looked a lot like Christie… and her story unraveled from there. I’m sure Google can give you more info than you could ever want on it.
