How do you feel about it? If it made you laugh, would that be enough? I stopped going to stand-up shows a while ago because too many drunk people yell and shout, and if you miss a part of a joke, it won’t make sense, so I just watch from home. Getting there, and the tremendous costs – I just stay home in general.
Also, will this be a “thing”? Those who can write but unable to perform for whatever reason?
If I didn’t know it was AI, I’d think “This guy has never been up on stage (or written a joke). He lost a football pool with his college bros, and had to do 10 minutes at a comedy club.”
And he’s got a creepy persona where he stares at you without moving.
Those who can write but unable to perform for whatever reason?
Well, then, those people can write but let others perform. That division of labor has worked for a long time…
“Ahh, I tell ya, I took a cab downtown the other day What a ride. This driver, this guy was a real character. I look at the hack license — ‘Travis Bickle.’ I said, ‘Oh no…’
I told him, ‘Take me to the Village.’ Next thing I know we’re flying through red lights, this guy’s talking to himself in the mirror. I said, ‘Buddy, can you slow down around 72nd Street?’ He turns around and says, ‘…You talkin’ to me?’
I said, ‘No! I’m talking to the OTHER lunatic driving a taxi at ninety miles an hour!’ Ahh, I was glad when he dropped me off at the Port Authority. The Port Authority! That’s when you know things went wrong. I get no respect, I tell ya… no respect.”
Probably not. Start with a standard motor that turns at a standard speed, and put a few different gearings on it. You’ll end up with simple relationships between the speeds.
