aircraft blonde and other slang

short pre-amble — at an Xmas party I bumped into a girl I had worked with some years previously at that time she had been blonde but was now a brunette so I asked her if that was her natural colour and she replied yes …I was slightly the worse for having been in the pub for most of the afternoon and I blurted out that me and my mate had had a bet when we had worked with her that her collar and cuffs didn’t match ( i.e she was an aircraft blonde …blonde hair with a black box) to which she laughed and said that we were both wrong as she shaved i.e a shaven haven…which got me thinking about slang terms for girls who die there hair or shave .

can anyone help me with more slang tearms

“black box” heh. Gotta remember that one.

Do the drapes match the carpet?

Actually, that doesn’t make much sense said like that.

It should be: “Does the carpet match the drapes?”

“Does the carpet match the drapes?”

I am a redhead, I have been asked that very question quiet a few times. Most of the time, I just say, “Yes”. Sometimes, just for fun I say something like. “gee. I’d offer to show you, but I shave.”

Oh, and another well known aircraft-related shaving term: Landing Strip.
