He was not “banned”, his content was removed and associated accounts were closed (meaning new material could not be added). The Infowars app looks like it is essentially a nice webskin (basically, a specific-website viewing tool). Using it is not involving Apple’s servers, network or branding, so removing it would not be worthwhile (petty, even) – and besides, it is a 99cent app, so Apple makes money off its sales (which might increase, in light of the publicity).
