I can’t say that I’m rune wealthy, but I have a lot more now than I’m used to having… I have Um, Pul, Lem, and 3 Fals at the moment and some assorted lower ones. I found the Pul while doing a pit run. I know I can probably trade the Pul for a shako, but I’ve been wondering about something. There is a runeword for armor, Um/Pul/Fal - Gloom(?) or something similar. My biggest lack is in the armor and resistance categories. The runeword (and I’m going on memory here, I don’t have access to the D2 sites at work) gives 45% resist all and like 170% to 220% enhanced defense. It’s not as good as a lot of other 1.10 armor runewords, but it’s much easier to make… and I can. The question is… should I? At the moment I don’t have a decent 3 socket armor handy, but I see 3 socket Scarab shells and boneweaves fairly often. Any opinions?
Ah, don’t worry so much about equiping me Who. I will eventually start finding stuff on my own. Is it me or is there a really big difference between drops on East/West? I haven’t even found a decent maul yet. I have gotten zero uniques. Barely even any rares. Do I need to pack a whole mess of mf gear to get something to drop?

Not bad, though 1/2 freeze dur. is really a useless mod … if your cold res is high, you don’t stay cold for long, so it’s a slim difference. I prefer CBF, but beggers cannot be choosers. I’d go with Lionheart over it both for better mods and lower reqs:

Well that was too cool. I’m making myself a Wind Druid named Padruig (Scottish Gaelic name. I wanted to name him “Guthrie” which means “from the windy valley”, but somebody else already had the same idea.) I had twinked him with Sigon’s set sans gloves. The gloves were the only part of the set that I hadn’t yet found on ladder.
So in Act 2 Normal, Padruig found himself filled to capacity with gold and decided to gamble some of it away. Just for kicks, he gambled on a pair of gauntlets… and it was Sigon’s gloves! WooHoooo! Was that perfect, or what? First time I have ever gambled a set item, and just happens to complete the set my character is wearing.
As for me, yeah… East seemed to drop a lot better. So far I’ve done maybe 10 pit runs and killed Andy and Mephisto three times in hell and have gotten no elite uniques of any kind. I’ve also killed Diablo and had nothing worthwhile drop. And remember, the first kill is supposed to give you an automatically improved drop no matter what your magic find. I’ve also killed NM Baal 20 times or so and have nothing to show for it.
I have a low/middling maul that I have no use for whatsoever that you can have.
Hell, I’m just passing on the favors that I’ve gotten from Chronos, YeticusRex, and theckhd. It feels good not to always be on the receiving end of charity. I also know that you’ll return the favor when you are

Yes, I know. But I was just trying to convey that I have gotten some uniques during magic finding but not any elites. I haven’t gotten a single unique at all on my first kills of Andy, Duriel, Mephisto, and Diablo in hell lvl, the bonus is supposed to help with that.
I’ve found several Bonesnaps (hey, it upgrades well), a Steeldriver, a Gavel of Pain, and I think a Bloodtree Stump. Neither elite yet, though. You’re welcome to any of them if you want.
And I’ve personally seen an even dozen elite uniques drop since I’ve been playing on ladder, compared to 4 or 5 in all my previous DII experience (single-player, 1.09). I didn’t end up with all of them, of course, but that’s mostly because I wasn’t interested (these were all in SDMB games, so no click-scramble to beat the other players). Admittedly, this may be largely because I had no single player character which could do Baal runs, but my single-player 'zon did numerous Hell Meph runs, at nearly 500 MF for LH.
MDSL i have an extra goldskin if you still need one. My sorc just upgraded to tal’s set, so she’s not using hers anymore. Also if you want to try out a Cranium Basher let me know, i have one and don’t intend to use it (unless i make a druid, but that won’t be happening in the next month at the very least).
Who_me i personally prefer Smoke to Lionheart, since Smoke gives 50% res all. In fact, my zon has one that’s waiting for her to hit lvl 53 so it can be worn. Once she gets to 65ish though i’ll switch her to Chains of Honor, so that Smoke will be free for use. Of course, if you find a decent 2-socket armor that you want to put it in, i have the Lum and the Nef i can donate to making it, which might be faster (since i haven’t been playing my zon very much).
By the way (and this goes for everyone), i tend to find a lot of decent stuff, so if there are any particular items you’re craving, i may be able to get ahold of it, so just mention it. Also, that way i’ll keep an eye out for it while i’m baaling/mephing.
If the spare Lightsabre, Annihilus charm, Laying of Hands and whatnot are only “decent”, I wonder what you would consider “good”. Do you have like 5 Breaths of the Dying tucked away somewhere?
I really wasn’t considering Lionheart. I like Smoke, but I’m Lumless at the moment. I still am considering Gloom, due to the enhanced defense. I figure that if I put it in a 500 defense 3 socket armor, then the resulting defense for the armor will be between 1350 and 1650… if my calculations are correct and I’ll get 45% resist all and the rest of the mods.
(I’m just trying something with the colored Runewords, just to see if it brings them out better… and isn’t irritating)

I have taken my druid into NM a bit earlier than I was intending to. At level 42 I am absolutly destroying everything in my path now that I can use the buriza. At ~1300 damage I am cutting through A1 very quickly.

I don’t know about that, but there are a lot of Annihili lying around on West (mostly in theckhd’s hands). To give an idea, my best is 18/19/9, and theckhd has a 20/17/10 and a 19/20/9. With 20 or 30 of the things, we can afford to be picky.
And Lightsabre is only “decent” because he’s using an Azurewrath now. It doesn’t get much better than that.
lol, no, in fact i don’t have any BotD’s at all (though i’m considering trading for one for my concentration barb), but i do have quite a few anni charms, as Chronos pointed out (and those two are only my two highest, there are about 5-6 that are just below those stats). Also consider that I have a lot of runes and some nice runewords, including my home-made Chains of Honor and Heart of the Oak. And numerous meph run / baal run findings.
Also it’s worth considering that the items i gave you aren’t really all that expensive to come by – Lightsabre and LoH are both worth pgems at best, probably 5-10 each. That’s not to say that i wouldn’t give away more expensive stuff, it just so happened those were what i had that fit the bill. For what it’s worth, i gave another friend of mine the entire sazabi set yesterday for his shockadin, until we can get a 3 socket phase blade to put Crescent Moon in.
