I’m up in the hills near Grass Valley, not in Coronado. (AKA The Village that Patrick McGoohan spent 17 episodes in)
I have a credit card (finally).
I walked so far away from my house I had to hitch a ride in the back of a pick-up truck to get part of the way home.
I passed the Subject A exam for the University of California.
I just got a brand new computer (OK so I can’t get Civilization II to work on it, but so what?)
I can listen to the musical score from Airport whenever I want.
The wild rasberries in my yard are ripe! * I just ate home made vanilla ice cream! mmmmm… * My foot doesn’t hurt very much! * My sweet sweet great grandmother, Nanny, just turned 98! * Fincel’s just started selling just-picked sweet corn! (I know, I know, I have braces, but I can cut it off the cob) * Oh! My teeth don’t hurt anymore and are getting straight! * I got my glass tiles in the mail and started mosaic-ing my table! * It’s warm! * My mom and I are getting along! * My kitty sits in the hot sun for hours and then lays on me and makes my lap warm! * I’m gonna move into my apartment soon!
Yay!
I’m going home.
I’m going home without burning my bridges here.
I’m going home.
My sig is very apt.
In no particular order:
My student loan has been approved.
The killer Fortnight Flu that’s been tormenting me is finally gone, and I can breathe again without coughing up a random internal organ as a result.
I’m married to a woman who by most definitions of the word is my soulmate, someone whom I cannot imagine being without, and someone who feels the same way about me.
In less than two weeks’ time I will be standing on the stage of the Royal Albert Hall making (I hope) some fantastic music to a sellout crowd.
jarbabyj has forgiven me for that little mistake I made in that other thread. [sub]You have, haven’t you?[/sub]
I’ve been cancer-free for six years now.
And finally my life, for all its various tribulations, has been good – I have known beauty and goodness and love in abundance, and the pain, when it has come, has never been more than I could bear.
Yup, lots to be happy about.
My boyfriend’s mother called me “honey” today! (She doesn’t hate me! :))
The big pimple on my chin finally decided to go away!
My dad is going out of town for a week, so I get to drive the car to school (instead of walking in the midday sun)!
