As far as I remember, it’s always been “Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee”.
Well damnit, this really screws up an old memory. In my teens, I luuuuved National Lampoon magazine. There was a cartoon that stuck with me for years – a guy picking up a girl and gettin’ some, with all conversation in the toon being advertising slogans.
Uh, Sara, I’ve got a tiger in my tank.
Oooo! It’s thickerer!
Etc, etc.
It ended with the guy talking to his friend Lee about the encounter, but damnit, “Nobody doesn’t like Sara, Lee” just doesn’t make sense!
Sigh…another beloved childhood memory shattered. This is even worse than that whole “no Santa” expose’.
Just curious - did you think the previousl line went Everybody does it like something?
It’s not no one who can claim that nobody doesn’t like no Sara Lee.
Dinsdale: I, for one, didn’t know there WAS a “previous line.” If I did, maybe I wouldn’t have been fooled (CONNED! DECIEVED!!!) all these years.
Apparently I’m just old enough to remember the line, but too young to know about any other lines…
