These folks blame her exercise & weight loss regimes for sucking all the fat out of her face.
She keeps getting cast as love interests so someone out there thinks she’s good looking.
I’ve said it before, but I just don’t find Sharon Stone hot. People have said that she doesn’t look excellent in stills, and I have to see her in motion, but I have seen her movies, and she just looks . . . plastic and skanky. Take Pinnochio and substitute Real Doll for puppet, and that’s how Sharon Stone comes off to me.
Also, she couldn’t act dumber or skankier in real life if she stripped at Centerfolds in between movie roles.
That’s just a run of the mill semi-athletic “swimmer’s” body. They’re a dime a dozen. All it takes to accomplish that kind of physique is a decent diet and a few hours a week at the gym swimming and playing basketball, plus a typical 20-year old metabolism. I’m a lot more impressed with someone who actually lifts some weights to attain his build - someone like Christian Bale.
Denise Richards
**Victoria Beckham **(at least since she lost all her body fat)
Hugh Jackman - he’s talented, funny, and charming and that makes him really attractive, but there’s something “off” about his face that I can’t put my finger on
Nicole Kidman - she has a lovely complexion and a statuesque body, but she’s just not all that pretty
Katie Holmes - she’s cute, but not hot
Ditto on **Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts **and Russell Crowe
Oh really? They why do I so rarely see men with this physique walking around? This might be because you’re a guy, but as a woman, I clicked on that link and went, yowza. I agree that his face is too cutesy cute for me to think it’s sexy (he looks like an anime character to me-- all he needs is the spiky hair) but his bod? There’s absolutely nothing to knock there. Not a blessed thing.
Do you know what Zac Efron’s exercise regimen is, or are you just guessing? And, why can’t I be impressed with both of them?
ETA: Hugh Jackman is the hottest thing out there, IMO.
Kudrow was cast on a show that was supposed to be about attractive singles living an attractive NYC lifestyle. Which is similar to the point **Jophiel **made about SJP. Family Guy made a joke about her looks, but that’s Family Guy. If it’s happened more frequently than that, I’ll take your word for it, but she clearly has no problem finding work in roles where the character is supposed to be very attractive.
**Stranger, ** sorry, I just don’t see it. He has a worn, rough look that’s unappealing. I’m not saying he, or any of the other people on my list are hideous, or untalented, but I wouldn’t give any of them a second glance.
Liv Tyler. I swear it always looks like she’s on the verge of tears at all times.
Russell Crowe is bland looking; I don’t see the attraction.
Daniel Craig is ape-like.
George Clooney–no.
Elijah Wood makes a great-looking hobbit. He doesn’t look like a human being at all, though.
Actually there aren’t a lot of major guy actors out there I do think are attractive right now.
You must be trolling… a great figure is pretty much the one thing Jessica Simpson’s always had going for her, at least until very recently, and even that’s debatable.
If “her body has never been that great”, then whose body is? Nell Carter?
Here are some examples:

I’d have to disagree with you on this one. This guy looks like a few of the better wrestlers on our school’s team, and I assure you those guys put in their gym time. He looks better than someone who spends a few hours a week at the gym (not that I’m fucking jealous of this guy’s abs or anything. Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I’ll go eat a candy bar and hurt a squirrel or something.)
I spend a lot of time at the gym and I’m also a fan of competitive bodybuilding (although I think the sport has fallen a long ways since the 1970s.) It’s really easy to tell whether or not someone lifts weights in any kind of focused way by looking at their body. Zac Efron obviously has very little muscular development.
Everyone has muscles underneath their fat. The less fat you have, the more visible the muscles are. (This is the key to having a “six pack” - doing 500 situps will accomplish nothing - the only way to have your abdominals show is to have low body fat, which is accomplished through diet.) Zac Efron has a low amount of fat, so his muscles are visible. But the muscles themselves are not very impressive - they’re not developed, and they don’t have “peaks.” Everything about them is fairly flat and smooth.
He’s obviously in excellent physical condition; he has a nice aesthetic physique, one which is definitely appealing to women. I’m not denying any of that. But I’m pretty damn sure that he doesn’t lift weights in any serious way.
Eh, for whatever it counts, Jessica Rabbit.
Maybe I just didn’t watch enough Tex Avery cartoons in my formative years, or somethin.
I wrestled in high school; wrestlers have a lean build but they typically don’t have much real muscular development. A wrestler will have long, lean, sinewy muscles, but those are not the result of weightlifting, they are the result of simply having low body fat.
Truly gaining muscle mass is near impossible, as a wrestler, because of the diet restrictions and the weight cutting. To gain muscle mass you must eat a surplus of calories every day. I can just about guarantee there is NO serious amateur wrestler who eats a surplus of calories.
I second Julia Roberts and Sharon Stone. Never saw why they were so lusted after. Jennifer Aniston is another. Her face looks sort of masculine, IMHO, and her body isn’t sexy either.
I’m shocked anyone would mention Rosario Dawson. After seeing her sex scene in Alexander, she took the “Most Beautiful Actress Alive” title from Nicole Kidman, at least in my book, but that’s what makes these threads fun.
I’m a male, but I hear a lot of women gush over Nicholas Cage and I don’t get it. I enjoy him as an actor, but he’s been going bald since his early twenties and has an odd face. Then again, a woman on Howard Stern who’d slept with him said that he’s hung like a horse. Maybe women can sense that sort of thing.
No, not trolling. She doesn’t have the body that a thousand other women don’t have. I will say that I’m probably biased in that I think she is incredibly ugly (face-wise) and her lack of intelligence is a detriment, but even saying so I don’t think she has a body worthy of the adoration given her.
No doubt, she has an ok body - although her boobs are just too big for her frame - but hell, you can see that just walking down the street. So what is her appeal?
Ok, now this thread is getting ridiculous. Her body may be older now, but when she was in Friends. Come on.
Jessica Simpson looks 50,000 times better right now than she ever did at any other point in her career. I like a woman who looks like a woman, and not like a boy with breasts and long hair.
Doesn’t matter at what point her career was - she’s just not hot/sexy/pretty. Just…no.
Plus the kilt-gotta love the kilt.
