Just wanted to let everyone know that you’ll have to do without me for a week. (I know, I know, dry your tears.) I’m leaving tomorrow morning for my company sales meeting in Maui, and even if I had access to a computer, I doubt I’d be inclinded to waste time on it there! See y’all in a week!
Lucky dog! Not exactly the worst time of the year to go either… Was there (Maui) a couple of years ago (in April). Whereabouts will you be staying? If you have the time, take a side trip to Hana: it’s worth it for the scenery.

This is the longest and farthest we’ve ever been apart in the last 10 years. BOOHOO!! <Sniff> Oh yeah, and this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the fact that I don’t get to go and be in Hawaii for a week…sun, sand, whale-watching…<sigh>…it is 100% about how much I’ll be missing PLD.
Oh well, I guess I’ll just rent all those old musicals with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly that PLD hates and blast my Monkees CDs into the wee hours of the afternoon.

Looks like I’ll be spending my weekend reviewing press clip tapes for a compilation video we need for a conference.
Just wanted to tell everyone that Phil arrived safe and sound around 8:30 Eastern/3:30 Maui time. He said its HOT as heck there (not that he was rubbing it in…I think he was genuinely shocked by the heat).
We only forgot one little thing when we sent him off across the ocean for a week–I didn’t get the mailbox key from him. Uh oh!
