I know we have quite a few Dopers in Baltimore City and surrounding areas. I’m thinking dinner and drinks in Ellicott City, but I’m willing to drive anywhere and entertain any suggestions. If there isn’t much response, we can open it up further to all Dopers in the D.C. Metro area. Who’s up for it?

I’d be up for something in Ellicott City sometime in January, on a weekend. I love the old downtown area, that would be fun.
For future reference, anytime you see “MADs” in the thread title w.r.t. a DopeFest, it refers to “Mid-Atlantic Dopers”.
Or is it “Maryland Area Dopers”?

About a year and a half ago, we MADs used to meet almost every month for dinner & drinks. Unfortunately, people moved, real life started interfering, and the idea fell by the wayside. It’s too bad, I miss seeing people like Asylum, panache, and TeleTronOne.
I hear ya Mike. Unfortunately, as far as I know, TeleTronOne is on a permanent vacation from the boards and from Dopefests, panache also seems to be MIA (she went off to grad school or something), and I haven’t seen Asylum around here in ages.
