Everyone I talk to says it’s disgusting. I can’t resist the Jelly Bellys or the buttered popcorn Dum Dum Pops when I can find them. Does anyone else like them on here? Also, is there any way to find a buttered popcorn Dum Dum Pop anymore?
I also love the buttered popcorn Jelly Belly. Never heard of the Dum Dum Pop.
They used to have a few of them in every bag they sold for Halloween. None of the trick-or-treaters ever got them from our house…
But I haven’t seen one since I was 14 or 15. I think they may have discontinued them, but I still look, as strange as it is for a woman two months from her 20th birthday to dig through the jar at doctor’s offices.
I don’t buy Jelly Bellys often (something about not have sweet, chewy crack around), but when I do, I always get some of the popcorn-flavored ones. This meets with full approval from every member of my family except one (who usually argues for getting only the popcorn flavor). Of course, these are people who find considerable enjoyment in sharing boxes of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans without referring to the cheat sheet…
Oh dear God no!
I used to work around the corner from Bush Boake Allen, a maker of synthetic flavors for the food industry. They made artificial butter flavor about three times a month and the entire neighborhood reeked for days. I can’t even take the smell of an uncooked package of microwave butter flavored popcorn anymore.
The popcorn Jelly Bellys are pretty good, but not my favorite. The popcorn Dum Dums, on the other hand, are awful. But if you’re into that kind of thing, I think you can special-order them from http://www.dumdumpops.com/
I enjoy the jelly belly beans. If corn plants ever go extinct, a big bag of jelly belly’s is the first thing I’m going for.
However the Mike and Ike buttered Popcorn beans are awful.

My daughter and I like the buttered popcorn jelly bellies. I haven’t tasted any other kind of buttered popcorn candy.
I always thought the buttered popcorn flavor dumdum pops were too “artificial”, but love the popcorn flavored jelly bellies. They even come in sugar free!
Almost everyone I know likes buttered popcorn Jelly Bellys and Dum Dums. Not I. They’re missing one integral part of the popcorn experience: salt. Jelly Belly jacked up the Caramel Popcorn beans, too: who the hell butters caramel corn?
I must, however, give Jelly Belly mad props for Juicy Pear and Red Apple. The flavor versimilitude is almost disturbing. They’re very good, but I swear they have a slight hint of the fruit peels in the flavor.
I love the Jelly Belly buttered popcorn beans.
Oddly, though, I detest actual buttered popcorn.

Oh, sorry, what was I saying? Oh yeah. I loves me some a’ them buttered popcorn Jelly Bellys. I’ve never had the dumdums, but my curiosity is piqued.
In other news, I also adore the toasted marshmallow and A&W root beer flavored jelly bellys. Nothin’ says “summer” better than sitting in a tent at Girl Scout camp feeling your blood sugar rise as you feast on Jelly Belly jelly beans. Yay!
So odd…i just get back from the candy store with a bag full of buttered popcorn jelly beans, as i sit and enjoy i stumble across this thread…so yes i love them 
Jelly Bellys are a tool of Satan. This is doubly true of the buttered popcorn ones.

We buy large bags of DumDums to give to kids in the doctors’ office where I work. I love seeing the kid’s faces when they get the buttered popcorn one. HEE HEE

I LOVE THEM! and I’m also the only person I know that does, so whenever anybody in my fam gets jelly beans, I always get all of the buttered popcorn ones - I think the appeal to me is that they taste so much like real popcorn, I have to have more to make sure they still taste so authentic - I’m surprised every time!
however, I’ve never had any other buttered popcorn flavored candy, just jelly bellies
