Oh, but it’s kind of fun replying to each one. Of course if this goes on much longer than there will be to many and it won’t be as fun, but I don’t see this thread going on for to much longer.

I still fully qualify on all four, and I’m 25. Of course, I was raised in a pretty conservative family and was not the least bit rebellious as a teen. I’ve been a little fuzzy from beer or wine, but never falling down, throwing up, or hung-over. The only thing I’d really be tempted by is #4 (sex, of course), and when the first real offer came in a month or so, it was one tough decision.

I was raised in a really conservative family too and I think that’s why I did the things I did. I was rebelling. The sex talk I got from my mom was “Don’t do it till you’re married.” No talk of love, safe sex, condoms, pregnancy… just “Don’t do it till you’re married.” She and my father were both virgins when thay got married 35 years ago (which I think is great… for them) and she told me that sex was better when you were married and only did it with one person. When I asked her how she could know this when she’d only been with one person and had no experience with anyone else she just said, “That’s just the way it is.”

My dad smoked so that was never an issue. They couldn’t tell me not to smoke when my dad has been smoking since he was 15. My dad used to drink a beer once or twice a year but he doesn’t drink at all anymore… my mom never has.

I’m still the black sheep of my family. Mainly because I do what I want when I want and my parents don’t control me. Don’t get me wrong. I love my parents to death and they did a good job raising me but I don’t think the same way they do. I have morals and values just like everyone else but I don’t think I have to go to church every Sunday to show that I’m religous. I don’t think I’m a bad person because I smoke, drink on occasion, used a few illegal drugs (when I was young and dumb), and had pre-marital sex. These things don’t define who I am. [sarcasm on] They are a small part of the wonder that is me! [/sarcasm off]

I think it’s great that there are so many people out there who have been able to resist the temptation to smoke, drink, do drugs, and have sex. But I also think it’s great that there are so many people out there who, like me, were just too damn curious to let the opportunity pass them by. No one is better than anyone else, we just have different views and opinions on what’s right and wrong and that’s wonderful.
