Futurama and all of its 3-D rendering makes for some excellent episodes. I agree with everyone that last weeks episode was unbelievably good.

The Simpsons has really run outta gas. It’s still okay, still better than almost anything else, but it is going downhill fast.
Futurama rocks, as I said before. I agree that Fox is up to no good with its scheduling changes. Right after it went on the air, a friend of mine (who tends to know about this kind of stuff) told me that Fox had no intention of keeping it on the air. Maybe this is true, and the weird scheduling is an attempt to kill it. I don’t know why, though–it’s a great show that just keeps getting better. It has good potential for a nice long run.
Malcolm in the Middle got off to a real strong start. The first few episodes were great. But, it is starting to wear very thin already. I still have hope that it will recover, because when it is funny, it is very very funny.
Titus annoyed me at first. The humor was too broad, too obvious. But it is just beginning to grow on me. I have hope for that one, too.
In my humble opinion, though, the best half-hour on TV is That 70’s Show. Maybe it’s just me, but I think that show is freakin’ hilarious. And if you don’t agree with me, I’ll make you wear your ass as a hat.
The voice of Fry, Billy West, is also the voice of Bugs Bunny in Space Jam and the MCI commercials. Believe it or not, according to imdb.com, he’s also the voice of Zoidberg, the Professor and Zapp Brannigan, who was supposed to be Phil Hartman. West is obviously a talented guy!
I’m definitely a fan of Futurama. The Married… with Children parody was a scream. Love it when they work in Star Trek references, like the music and the sound effects.
I’ll go ahead and throw my hat in the Futurama ring. I would venture that it’s the funniest show on television, except for maybe The Family Guy or That 70’s Show (all three on Fox. Hmm…). I’m praying to the Fox gods that it not be cancelled.

WHERE DO YOU DOWNLOAD THEM, TELL ME NOW
Trion! I thought I was the only one who considered artwork to be one of the important characteristics of cartoon shows! I love Futurama! The art is so much better than the Simpsons–even the color scheme is better.
I’m sorry, I’m an artist.
But I would love Futurama no matter what–I love that it makes science fiction jokes but they’re not the same old science fiction jokes. That’s probably why it won’t last. It’s too good.
I love Futurama! Bender rules, Fry is priceless, and Leela is the perfect antidote to Ally McMini.
I don’t see how any self-respecting Simpsons fan could hATE Futurama. It’s hypocrisy. My brother is an even bigger Simpsons fan than I am, but he insists Futurama is not funny. But here’s the thing: my brother’s a dick.
My favorites are the soda factory one (“I could get through here if I didn’t have these damn arms!”) and the bureaucracy one (“I am bender. Please insert girder.” " Hell, yeah1 I am Bender baby! Please insert liquor!")
Oh my the hysterics!
Long-time Simpsons fan here, and I love Futurama. Unfortunately, the time slot Fox slapped it with has limited my watching…but I try to see it.
Note on the whole “Fox is determined to kill this show!” thing. Apparently, Matt Groening felt–and said–just that when Futurama’s time slot was once again changed to the lousy spot it has now. He said they were intent on killing the show–and if they are, they SUCK. I agree that the Simpsons is losing steam, and Futurama is its refreshed, rebirthed, evolved new self.
Now quick! Hide the anchovies!
Why for? That seems disrespectful, considering “The Simpsons” pretty much MADE Fox an network. I can remember petitions to get cable companys to carry it based on that alone.
agreed, I consistantly miss “antiques roadshow” for it, even the reruns, lol. “Love Story? There’s two things wrong with that title…no Smokey and no Bandit!”
Hey Breck, you and I will have to get together for TV sometime! Your favorites are my favorites, so count me as a “hell yes”.
Sweet Zombie Jesus!
Futurama is without any doubt the most consistently funny show on TV anymore.
My current favorite character is Zap Brannigan.
I LOVE this show… it has the potential to be the next simpsons. sometimes i think its not as funny but it does have its unique humor. great characters too… you gotta love Fry and Bender!
i also love that 70’s show… for some reason its really funny!! i love the camera shop guy…
maybe the fact that i like the time period plays a role…
Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn!!! PvonAtark stole the quote I was going to use!
Anyway,
“Tell my wife . . . hello”
Love it, more than almost anything else on the tee-vee.
Futurama kicks my ass. Now I feel bad that I missed last week’s episode! My favorite has to be the one where Fry and Bender try to be roommates–Bender’s “sober binge” was brilliant. (“Bender, you’re blind stinking sober! Have you been out all night not drinking?”)
The current time slot blows the big one. Am I the only one who finds “Malcolm in the Middle” entirely un-funny? According to them, everyone seems to love it. If that’s the case, put it on at 7:00.

My son got me started on Futurama. I Love it! And Bender! My son loved the one where Bender puts nibbler the pet down the toilet.
My favorite was the Santa Claus who mows em down!
Garden - Well, I’m no artist but I always notice the art. Personally, I think the Simpsons art is fine. For me the art need not be perfect - just appropriate to the subject. Futurama art is great. I love the depth and the motion.
I’m also a Futurama fan. I think of it as The Simpsons meets Family Guy, with better art.

Here we go. I posted the little bits I have, if anyone wants to grab them.
