Good point. After I wrote that I tried to come up with a recent candidate for President that wasn’t a conceited ass. Maybe Obama? Or did he just hide it really well? McCain definitely until I remembered his “comity” statement while Al Fraken was presiding over the Senate.
I wouldn’t call him a conceited ass, but Obama himself has admitted to a degree of arrogance during his first few years in office. Mostly he seemed to think that he was above the sausage making of pushing his policies through Congress and took a hands off approach.
I don’t think the “undecideds” are the determiners. Rather, it’s the decideds who are motivated enough to get their asses to the polls.
