Why can no one figure out to cut one end off the onion, make a series of vertical and horizontal cuts almost to the root at the other end, and then slice. Voila! Your onions are chopped.
I’m with Judith Prietht , the stress of this is amazing!

Please please pretty please – either (1) let Rob & Amber’s plane crash, or (B) let Amber leave one of the clues in their backpack on the plane.
I keep saying that during every episode of Survivor! She must eat a LOT of coconut!
Anyway, GO UCHENNA AND JOYCE!
Oh My God! I can’t stand it!
As a lifelong atheist, I now believe there is a God.
Rob and Amber DIDN’T win!!!
:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d
Damn. That’s some serious smiley failure.
And Uchenna and Joyce did!! Yay them!!
And they paid the cabdriver.
I’m sure I’ll have something detailed and insightful to say tomorrow–or at the very least, longer–but I just wanted to say this:
Uchenna just made me cry like a French soccer player.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!
It was a bit of a letdown for me. I think Rob and Amber were the best team and frankly, I think they get a bit of a bad rap from everybody. They don’t really need a second million, I guess.
Congrats to the winners though, the pilot allowing them on at the last minute was obviously the key.
WOOHOO!!
Draelin, are you a Get Fuzzy fan, by any chance? Anyway …
YEEEEEEEESSSSSS! And, I am jealous. Because if I won a million dollars? We’d do the exact same thing with it. I wish my marriage were as “dysfunctional” as U&J used to think theirs was. I love them so much. I wish they would move in next door to us.
On preview: drm, I hate those two, but I would have (grudingly) given them the benefit of the doubt if not for the statement, “Just write us the check.” An overblown sense of entitlement does not become anyone, I don’t think. Perhaps they picked the wrong saint, and should have gone with St. Jude, instead.
May I just say:
YEEEEEHAH!!!
And I scared my dogs shrieking at the TV! Now THAT’S what I call a great ending!!
I disagree that they were the best team. They were smart. They did things that I disagree with, and which I think CBS should look review for future race - in trying to impede other teams. I wonder what the rules are about this.
Also, I don’t think their most significant advantage in their “celebrity” status should be underestimated. They certainly made the most of it, but I don’t think they would’ve done quite as well if they weren’t on the cover of magazines, etc.
I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I literally had tears in my eyes. I was pacing around the room as both teams were trying to find the cigar shop. ANd Uchenna trying desperately to get the money to pay the driver before they went in to win the dough was just classy. I so hope they get their child, whether by birth or adoption.
StG
Woooo hoooooo! I laughed. I cried. I did the happy dance around the run and scared my cats.
Oh, cut them some slack. They were just being optimistic and positive…saying that is something any of us could easily be guilty of under the right conditions.
All three teams are guilty of saying, “We’re going to win.” This is just another variant.
I personally love R&A, but I’m happy that U&J won. They definitely deserve it!!
I am so happy I’m doing the Dance of Joy!!
But I have to say something to Kelly. “I’m just a typical woman looking to get married…” Girl, please. I love DeHusband, but when he started looking at engagement rings, I started looking for the exit. You are just a typical drama queen looking to be the center of attention.
OK back to the rejoicing…
