I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that it’s our very own Phil who utters this week’s title line. In my imagination he says it to the effing Weavers, as they stand on the mat at the end of the episode, defeated and humiliated, covered in mud and tar and feathers and half-rotten apple cores and red coffee beans and pages torn from the Book of Mormon, the Last Team To Arrive. And Phil will snap a picture with some product-placed digital camera and laugh this heretofore-unheard truly evil laugh, and he will say, “Here’s the family Christmas card this year, bee-yotches!” And he will slink away, still laughing that evil laugh, as the Weavers stand on the mat in the middle of nowhere while the darkness settles all around them, and the screams and moans of a multitude of demons rise around them like a dense fog, waiting to swallow them up and bring them home.

Hey, a girl can dream, right?

I’m just glad that someone finally gets the boot. It’s been what, 3 weeks?
I also hope the Linz’s camera-person gets a new battery for the camera. And brings a spare.

I was thinking along the same lines (team members covered in mud and muck, saying something about “Here’s the family Christmas picture”), but I was thinking it’d be a Linz who said it. They’ve got a few more siblings at home, right? I bet their mom dressed them all up in cute red and green outfits when they were little* for a family photo to enclose with the Christmas cards.

  • Or maybe even last year, who knows?
Back to the OP: Blah, blah, Effing Weavers, blah, blah…

Mmm … Nick and Tommy Linz in cute little red and green outfits … I’m sorry, what?

And a review of the CBS website indicates that Tommy is 19, so I don’t even need to feel dirty or anything. Plus, I love me some frat boys, so of course the Linzes are right up my alley. Mmm … shirtless Nick Linz … how am I supposed to concentrate for the rest of the day?

Nineteen?
That’s a little too young for me. He is cute, though.

Heh. You can have Tommy. Nick & Alex - yes.

Definitely my favorite team now the Paolos are ::sniff:: gone.

Oh, I like all three Linz guys - I just didn’t realize Tommy was so close to being jailbait.

Heh, I’ll take whichever one’s left, except Megan, 'cuz she’s just not my type. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I like the Linzes.

But the young ones can still be trained! And they have such stamina! They don’t know what they’re doing, but they can do it for hours, and they can be trained - that’s the point!

I just came in to sign up for the Linz Brothers Rotation, and mumble something about the effing Weavers.

Ooooh, yeah, stamina. I like that.

I’m not telling you people again, I dibsed Nick Linz.

I notice there wasn’t a “last week’s most amazing moment” segment this week. Even CBS admits that there were no amazing moments last week.

Aaaaand, we’re bunched. And the Weevils bitch about being bunched, despite bunching being the only reason they’re still in this race. Well, bunching and the Divine Love Of Our Lord And Savior of course.

<snerk>She prayed for wisdom.<snerk>

“You’re torturing us Phil!”

“Yeah, I’m torturing you!”

Hee.

Oh please, don’t discourage her, it’s the only glimmer of self-awareness she’s shown this entire race.

Besides, I called dibs on her. Same area code and everything.

I know this is blasphemy, but God do I hope the God-whatever-skis get the ax. How are they still around?

Searching for balls…it’s the task the Linz boys have trained their whole lives for!

Killer Fatigue, thy name is Godlewski! Aaaaaaand, it’s multiplied by like 4,000. Damn. Christine talks too much, but she’s no fool.

“Buick is a great vehicle!”

I swear I saw Phil slip Wally a tenner.
