I wanted to start this thread for one line in the show:
“So he attacked rolled a D20, but luckily I had an armor class of 0 so I didn’t lost any hit points.”
Good to see Steve and his pals play OLD SCHOOL D&D. None of this 3rd (well, 3.5) crap.
The handicapped mafia was pretty funny, but I don’t think that even during my most pathetic teenage period I’d be willing to feel up manboobs.
Weakest episode to date.
Pretty weak.
This show has had some outstanding moments–most notably the one where the family ends up in Saudi Arabia*–but I have to say that it’s very ill-conceived, and its weak points far outweigh its strong ones.
*Rhyming Saudi Arabia with labia was sheer genius.
This episode was about a third brilliant and two thirds absolutely horrible. For the most part, all of the good stuff involved Francine and Haley’s storyline. “Man, these hours are brutal! No wonder those doctors on Scrubs don’t have time to be funny.” - that might have been the funniest line I heard all night. And the inflection in her voice when she hugged the doctor-bear was perfect. The whole man-boobs plotline… well, I want that ten or twelve minutes of my life back. So hit and miss… and the first week in a while where I think Family Guy was noticeably a step above.
“Just so you know … I had the shot.”
After Sunday, I have officially given up on this show. It’s always such a let down after Family Guy.
The man-boob storyline just squicked me out. Yuck. Not funny in the slightest. Gross. Ewww.
